Apartment vacation rentals in San Mateo County

This place was a great stay! Far enough away from the city to have a quiet place but easy enough to get in and explore SF quickly. Very spacious place with a great big kitchen. Parking was a little difficult but I just assume that’s completely normal for the Bay Area.

William is a very kind host and very helpful. very clear instructions that were itemized and easy to follow. The apartment was clean and had everything needed and in a great locaiton. William is very responsiveand resolved anything that came up in a matter of minutes. would 100% stay there again!

Beautiful house just like the pictures, very quiet neighborhood, it’s close to a lot of stores. Xuannis respond very quickly to any questions I had. So I definitely recommend it.

We had such a lovely stay! The location is unbeatable, right next to the ocean and we got lucky with two full days of sunshine before the marine layer rolled in. Paul was super accommodating and friendly. A special shoutout to his sweet cat, who greeted us every time we pulled into the driveway. Definitely a highlight! Would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay for a couple of weeks if you are in the surrounding area. Very responsive host, which is always appreciated. If I need a short stay rental in the area again I would definitely check for availability

We had a great stay at Adela's place. She was a communicative host, everything was perfectly clean and ready for us, the bed was so comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed for out stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Lovely little studio, perfect for 1-2 people. Despite the owners being upstairs the place is amazingly private and restful. Surrounded by trees and well appointed with respectful and quiet hosts this place is a steal.

Comfortable, attractively furnished, and spacious for our vacation stay as a couple. The views are truly lovely.

This place is super close to Caltrain which made it very convenient. It’s very walkable to nearby shops, and we even rented e-bikes from the store a couple blocks away and found the area very bike-friendly. The train is pretty loud — I’m used to train sounds but it was louder than expected. Highly recommend bringing earplugs — I bought some on the second night and it was perfect after that. It is her primary residence so you’ll feel more like you’re staying at a friend’s house than at a curated Airbnb. Don’t book this expecting a hotel vibe — it’s someone’s house, so come ready to respect that.

It has been a lovely and very comfortable stay - very spacious living room and bedrooms, in-unit washing and drying machine, and great location - close to Safeway, Trader Joes and the Caltrain station. Would definitely come back.

Excellent play to stay if you plan to visit San Francisco, close to the airport. The place is clean and nice to stay!

• Unit is larger and looks better than it did in the pictures when I stayed in April 2025 • More spacious than most hotel rooms • There is no elevator, and the stairs are steep, making it challenging if you're traveling with luggage • Walking distance to Whole Foods • The building exterior looks a little sketchy, but the development next door looks safe, nice, and new, making the street feel safe • Overall, great value. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Samara’s. Wish we were staying longer! The place was even better than described. We felt right at home, both because of the place and Samara’s hospitality. She was so communicative, kind, and accommodating. The space had everything we needed and everything worked well. The building is wonderful- nice gym, great little lobby for working, and a lovely outside space. Lots of spots nearby for food and drinks. Street parking was easy and we never had an issue. Would 100% stay again (and hope to).

The apartment was as described it was quiet and exactly as described. It is a great place close to a park for recreation.

Great location! Apartment was spotless and location very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Hosts were very responsive. We had a bit of trouble with the app that provides access to the garage , but we were generally able to piggyback with someone else entering the garage, so it wasn’t a significant problem. Would happily stay again.

We had a great time here. Agree with a lot of the other reviews. Super easy check in with door codes. Parking is $20 each 24 hours, I think first 2 hours are free. Easy electric charging with PowerFlex including what looked like fast chargers. The train blows its horn a little bit when coming by the apartment, but with our earplugs in at night we slept great. The Airbnb provides a pair of earplugs for free. The studio bedroom has sliding doors that were basically like blackout curtains. We had trouble locking the back balcony door but reached someone by phone within minutes and they walked us through how to lock it. Keurig with coffee pods provided. Tons of restaurants and a Walgreens within walking distance. Stanford short drive away. Amenities are great, accessible with a key card. Highly recommend this place. Better option than local hotels for the same price. One of the most beautiful luxury apartment buildings I’ve seen.

We had a wonderful stay here, home, in the Bay Area. We hosted the eldest here for her senior Prom Night held @ CityView in SF(2o) min drive. it was a wonderful stay. They enjoyed the amenities at the residence. We enjoyed the breathtaking views. I almost walked across the street & did some paragliding for My others Day, yesterday. Lol. Great views. Prime location. I would pull up again. ✌🏿

Nice apartment complex with great location. But a little bit hard to navigate and find the exact unit If the instructions were not properly sent before arrival. Walkable to court of grocery, Starbucks and quick bites. The area is very safe also.
