The finca is definitely a destination property consisting of about 70 (?) hectares. It is in the country, so it is isolated, private, and the scenery is beautiful. Any activities that are not directly farm and tobacco related will require transportation, which is available at the finca. Don't miss a tour thru the tobacco processing and cigar production facilities. We were on the property in May (warm), which was not the growing season (Dec.) - but we were still able to see the tobacco drying in the drying facility and being processed. The stay can be a bit of an adventure depending on your comfort level - government power outages make use of the air conditioner at night impossible - but we had 4 fans to maintain a breeze at night. While we were staying, we did notice a truck full of solar panels being delivered and installed so hopefully in the future the reliance on the government for power will not be necessary. Alejandro was great person and excellent guide. Would stay again.

Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite à l’aise et en confiance chez Ivan. C’est un hôte très aidant et à l’écoute. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil avec son fils Ivan aussi et le jus de mangue provenant de la ferme familiale. Bon petit-déjeuner de la casa. Bien situé à distance de marche de la rue principale. Chambre confortable et propre.

Un excellent stop dans cette jolie finca. Tres jolie cabane confortable, possibilite de boire un verre et manger juste a cote. L’etablissement propose des activites nous avons fait celle pour de ouvrir comment rouler un cigare et vous pouvez voir toutes les grandes etapes permettant d’y arriver c’etait tres sympa. Mention speciale a alejandro tres serviable et qui nous a fait faire un tour de la plantation Ps: plutot conseillee aux leve tot toute une petite menagerie vit ici vous aurez donc le coq la dinde et le paon comme reveil matin :)

Alejandro and Marielise were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend them and the farm. The farm was so pretty, peaceful and fun. Our stay at the farm was our favorite part of our trip to Cuba!

wat een geweldig team Akejandro en Mari Elli, zo lief, vriendelijk en behulpzaam, Tony ook nog bedankt voor alle hulp, we vonden het verblijf geweldig, zo enorm genoten. Heten super, de cabin, geweldig smaakvol. hopen nog eens terug te komen.
