Vacation rentals with a fire pit in San Juan County

Pictures don't do this place justice. The scenery and home are beautiful. The accommodations were exceptional and plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. The host was responsive.

Beautiful home and location! Fully stocked residence. We brought a lot of items from home that were not needed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have spent a couple more days just to enjoy the view!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was peaceful and offered the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel like home. It truly made our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to stay again in the future!

We were here for a wedding and loved where we stayed. The hosts responded quickly as we made some last-minute changes. Lovely hiking just out the door. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location! We love coming to the Durango area to ski at Purgatory and this condo was just what we needed to have a relaxing stay. I saw some other reviews saying the hot tub was not working and I was hopeful it would be operational for our stay. Unfortunately, it was no longer there. Hopefully the property will replace it, although it did not look like it was going to happen.

Everything was very good, the place was amazing, my family and I had a great time, the cabin was very comfortable, excellent service and the host met our needs, a super recommended place, the day they choose the cabin they loved it, very grateful and delighted about the place, thank you very much.

This place was awesome! Niki was so kind and great at communicating since the beginning. Our whole group loved it and it was perfect for my wedding party!!!

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Kristen’s condo! I personally think it’s even nicer in person than what they’re able to depict in the pictures. The area was gorgeous, peaceful, and comfy. The club property that it’s in also has so much to it; we took advantage of the gym, got some gelato from one of the restaurants, and took a walk on the huge property. It was a little chilly in the apartment when we went (but not terribly so / winter conditions) and so it was a little confusing figuring out how to get the bedroom specifically comfortable temp wise for us. There’s a lot of blankets to use that solved the situation for us though. The bed was also very comfy! But everything else was great!

A perfectly peaceful, spacious, and homey place with a great location. The kitchen is one of the best I've experienced in countless Airbnbs, and even the foldout couch sleeper was super comfy. I'd happily recommend it and will stay there again if I'm so lucky.

Amazing location on the edge of Lake City town center. Easy parking, easy entry, fun & interesting decor and SUPER easy 5-min drive to the Ice Park. Stay at one of Ben's Basecamp locations and you won't be disappointed. He's excellent with communication, and a heck of a nice guy. He ALSO happens to spend his time maintaining the Ice Park, so support this guy and his operation.

This is the best place to stay at Purgatory Resort. Ski-in Ski-out is an understatement. Literally, skied right to ski lift. I would recommend staying here every trip to Purgatory Resort. Kris is always helpful in every aspect.

This is the best Air BnB I have stayed in. It is a beautiful well thought out home. It is located on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed the peacefulness. The host are the best and went the extra mile to ensure our trip was perfect!

Great location and communication. The place is an interesting layout and as the other review said, doesn’t comfortably fit 6+ in the living room BUT since our group skied during the day and went to dinner in the evening it was not a problem! The dining table fit 6 chairs comfortably. Overall great stay

Such a beautiful place! The view was amazing . Very easy to get to. The room was clean and neat. About 25 minutes from Durango. Loved our stay!

Great place! Jim was helpful and flexible with the checkin time and the apartment was lovely with plenty of space. The heated steps were a nice touch and nice on bare feet after getting out of the hot tub! I would highly recommend staying here.

If you are looking for a true cabin in the woods —- one that feels like something from another time and also has a jetted tub and SUUUPER comfy beds this is your place. It is cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by absolute beauty. The aspens are amazing and the lake is like a 2 minute drive. We had such a wonderful time and felt right at home. I can’t recommend this cabin enough.

I had SUCH a wonderful stay at James and Kims' lovely cabin. It was adorable and comfortable. Close enough to town to easily pop in for groceries and such but still had that wonderful "away from it all" feeling. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with a gorgeous stream running right behind it and beautiful views of the mountains all around. James and Kim were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind. Can't recommend this place enough!

What a beautiful and very peaceful cabin right on the river! We loved every minute and hated to leave.

My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Next time we’ll be sure to make a stop and Telluride again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to our family we are so grateful!!! 🖤 the Anderson family !!!

This cabin was a perfect quiet getaway! it fits the description not the penthouse unit but had everything we needed and clean. The location was a great hub for all of our outdoor adventures. Also the small town and the locals we met were extremely great and welcoming!

Barney was a great airbnb host. As the house was in a secluded area (which was what we wanted!), he made sure to give us descriptive directions to get to the location. Check in was a breeze and the house was very clean, cozy, and had all the listed amenities and then some! We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come back!

This Durango home truly felt like a retreat! Every morning started with breathtaking mountain views. We were lucky enough to see a bunch of deer and even an eagle right from the deck! We spent cozy evenings around the campfire and loved how peaceful everything felt. The location was ideal—tucked away enough to feel surrounded by nature, but still close to downtown for restaurants and activities. The host was very attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. We’d love to return and definitely recommend the house to anyone visiting the area!

My family loved our days tucked in this cozy cabin in the mountains. We enjoyed hikes nearby. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We grilled and enjoyed the yard, including daily visits from deer!
