The house is beautiful and everything worked perfectly. The country setting right in the foothills of the Andes mountains is breathtaking and we will really miss waking up to that vista every morning. The town of Tenjo is only 7km away and there you can find all of the shopping and restaurants that you will need during your stay. Carlos is very attentive to his guests and he checked in with us frequently. The really unique part of staying is this particular Air BNB is that the family that maintains the Finca for Carlos lives in the house right next door and this guarantees that you will always have people that really care about maximizing your experience available to you 24/7. My whole family stayed in this house for a full month....and it was one of the best experiences of our lives. You cannot find a better option in Tenjo.

Un espacio acogedor, es como sentirse en casa, totalmente organizado y un espacio para salir de la rutina, el hospedador fue amable todo el tiempo y comprensivo desde la llegada hasta la salida. La señora que nos recibio fue un amor, y la casa tiene todo para compartir y disfrutar

La casa es maravillosa, las habitaciones son supercómodas, al igual que los baños. Hay luz por toda la casa; la cocina está totalmente equipada y es cómodo cocinar en ella. La vista es grandiosa, puedes disfrutar de un amanecer o de ver las estrellas en la noche. Se respira un aire de tranquilidad y buena energía en toda la casa. La casa es realmente una edificación autosostenible; se usa energía solar y baterías para los consumos eléctricos. Se usa el agua de lluvia, y se usan los desechos orgánicos para compost. Los vegetales y aromáticas son orgánicos. Todos los espacios estaban inmaculados y confortables. La casa queda a tan solo nueve (9) minutos del pueblo, lo cual es muy conveniente. Mariana y Juan, excelentes anfitriones, nos dieron instrucciones muy claras y nos ayudaron con todo. Y un plus: sus perritas, Osa y Chia, son muy cariñosas y amigables. Si estás buscando hospedarte en un hogar autosostenible que sirva de inspiración, este es el lugar indicado, 10/10.

This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment. Every time I have been thrilled with the apartment. It is a beautiful and unique apartment with high end furniture, comfortable bed, in a high-end neighborhood very close to Parque 93. Juan, thank you again.

Alba fue una anfitriona espectacular. Fue muy amable cuando nos perdimos y nos ayudó a llegar . El apartamento estaba precioso. Nos gustó muchísimo. Tiene una excelente ubicación, cerca de todo, buenos restaurantes, Netflix, equipamiento de cocina… todo. Lo único es que el ruido de la avenida era un poco elevado por el tráfico. Pero pusimos un ventilador que nos ayudó a cancelar ese ruido externo. A mi, y a mi familia nos encantó. Gracias Victoria y Alba

Great material when confirming the booking in regards how to use all amenities. Made a couple mistakes but Charlie was very understandable with outstanding fast replies to make sure the stay was as frictionless as possible. I also requested some local restaurant recommendations and thanks to him I had the best Italian food I had in many years! Thanks Charlie , Amazing host!

The property was beautiful! The hosts were so accommodating. I was traveling by myself and arrived at night. I’m a disabled woman and they assisted me with transportation from the airport right to the front door. I would definitely recommend staying here! It’s right in the heart of La Calendaria. There are tons of wonderful eateries and cafes, museums, and sidewalk vendors. Thank you so much for having me!

Marcsela’s apartment in La Candelaria is so charming and beautiful. It feels like stepping back in time and history. Its location could not have been any better. Everything I needed was conveniently located within a few minutes walk. The famous Bolívar Plaza, Museo Botero, Museo Bogotá, Museo Oro, Museo Esmeralda, and many other places of interest were nearby. Even the Monserrat’s cable car station is within a 30-40 minutes easy walk. I will definitely stay at Marcsela’s apartment when I go back to Bogota.

This is the best place to stay in Bogotá, hands down. Beautiful neighborhood close to so many fun things to do. Quiet and peaceful when you want it, bustling and exciting a block away. We would stay here again and highly recommend!

Amelia is a super host indeed. Incredibly responsive and communicative. We were probably a little demanding during our stay and Amelia went out of her way to meet our every request. The apartment is super, sufficient space for us as a couple for 5 nights, well located in a walkable area near shops and restaurants. The shower is spacious and the second half bath great to have as a couple! The doormen at the building are amazingly friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed staying here. There is some street and restaurant noise at night of course if you have the windows open, as Bogotá is a big and busy city, but that is only to be expected. It did not stop us from sleeping. Thank you Amelia for a wonderful stay, would definitely come back!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Andrés' home. The house was immaculate and perfectly suited for our group of six adults and two children. Accessing the area was relatively straightforward, though I highly recommend renting a vehicle for convenience. Andrés and Pilar were incredibly attentive hosts, always ensuring our needs were met. The neighborhood is extremely safe and peaceful, making for a relaxing stay.

la casa es muy amplia y comoda, muy recomendada en caso de pasar varios dias , los exteriores son hermosos, los vivientes muy atentos y colaboradores , hay senderos hermosos , al ser una casa que tiene vivientes uno puede dejar la casa con tranquilidad , nosotros llevamos bicicletas de competencia , asi que era seguro dejarlas en casa. la casa esta ubicada en un conjunto de mas casas , con vecinos que aumentan la seguridad. la tercera habitacion es independiente de la casa , amplia y muy comoda.en nuestro caso fue perfecto que fuera asi, recomiendo que eso se especifique . hay un baño , el social , que deberian informar que no debe ser usado por problemas en el desague y cañeria , pero la casa tiene mas baños que no impiden para nada que ese no pueda usarse . la via de acceso es bastante empinada , asi que hay dos opciones de acceso

La casa es mejor que en las fotos, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estadia. Tiene una vista espectacular. Nos hospedamos 8 personas y estuvimos muy cómodos, Lucila y Milucho qué son las personas que nos recibieron, son muy amables y colaboradores. Recomendado 100 %.

I love this place. Such a beautiful and well-equipped house, would be great for groups. Fantastic office for working, everything in great condition and so many touches that make it like home. The neighborhood is fantastic and super walkable, security guards are great. And the host is incredibly friendly and helpful - greets you with coffee, beers and sofa in fridge and eggs and other food to get started. It is the house he grew up in and clearly takes a lot of pride in for good reason. I would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend.

El alojamiento permite unos días de desconexión total, cerca de Bogotá y con fáciles vías de acceso. La casa es hermosa, amplia, cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda. es perfecta para unos días de compartir en familia.

Juan Pablo and his Father were attentive and caring hosts. I had a large party and they accommodated us arriving late and aided in our transport to and from the house at odd hours. They always came to check in on us and make sure we were comfortable while providing activities for the kids to enjoy (Badminton, Soccer, Jacuzzi, Basketball). They were both extremely welcoming and warm, making us feel right at home on the property. We also had the help of two women who aided in preparing meals and cleaning the property daily. They were incredible and attended to our every need at any moment. They tirelessly worked to make sure we were fed throughout the day. The property is magical and photos don't do it justice. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset and the early morning. The plants, vegetation and wildlife add a vibrant life to the sprawling property. The beautiful experience of staying here was exactly what my family needed.

The house pictures are an initial showcase of what this wonderful property offers, you will think they fall short once you have spent the first hours inside the house and wandering the almost never ending exteriors. Botanical Garden! those were my wife words when choosing between another lovely property and this one. Arduous gardening work have been done to this property during several years, it shows! Water channels surround the house, protecting it from insects, offering freshness and the lovely sound of running water. Several garden areas, natural creeks and waterfalls combined with manmade ponds making you feel at an English garden in the middle of a Colombian montane forest. It was a fantastic experience, which was enhanced by the people taking care of the property. They were always attentive but aware of providing privacy when needed, always open for conversations and allowing the guests to feel at home. Volveremos!
