Jenn and Matt’s place is perfect for a quaint and cozy getaway. It’s a short drive to the lake and shops, but also removed enough to feel private and peaceful. The home is very calming— between the fireplace, hammock and hot tub, there are plenty of ways to relax 😊 We were looking for a way to disconnect from life in LA, and this was the perfect place! Thank you!

Loved our time at the Happy Fox Retreat! Our hosts, Leanne and Dan, were extremely responsive and friendly. When the power in the whole valley was shut off (by the city) due to the winds, Dan called us to check in on us, which was such a nice thing to do! The cabin was super cute, clean, and just perfect for us. The spa was amazing, the record collection had some of our favorites (Eagles greatest hits…The Beatles!) and the projector and sound system were the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to go back! Thanks Leanne and Dan! Your attention to details and kindness made our anniversary get away super memorable and perfect! Highly recommend! It won’t disappoint!

What a wonderful place to celebrate my 70th birthday with my whole family and 2 grand babies. There was plenty of room for us all and we loved being right near the lake. Loved how close it was to the village and also that it was in a quiet neighborhood. We are foodies so loved the well stocked kitchen. Also very helpful that they had a high chair and pack and play available. Really friendly and communicative hosts!

My wife and I wanted a quick get-away where we can soak in a tub and indulge while taking in some peaceful scenery, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Check in was quick and easy and just as the instructions described. Getting into the unit was easy as well and the double sliding doors was absolutely amazing to have for the view. Pots, pans and mostly everything you’d need to run a kitchen is available. Macayla and Jon provided local coffee and wine along with a list of local restaurants, great surprise that we weren’t expecting but follows the theme of the unit as well. Great attention to detail and has everything you need. Perfect stay for us with nothing but positive things to say. My wife and I discussed it and we’ll absolutely be back. 10/10

We enjoyed a lovely, restful stay at a Stone’s Throw. The house was the perfect stay in Big Bear. My husband, son, and I enjoyed our coffee on the beautiful deck and the spa was great after a day of hiking and biking. The house is located just a few minutes from the village and stocked with games, pool table, and corn hole. Christian, is the most responsive and helpful host. Upon arrival, we found a handy binder listing restaurants and hikes in Big Bear. We can’t wait to visit again. We had everything we needed and cozy comfy beds too! Thank you :)

Our stay in Big Bear was fantastic, the house had everything we needed and then some. Great attention to detail and small touches to make you feel at home. So many games and activities for our kids, they didn’t want to leave. Kirsten was very responsive and flexible. We can’t wait to come back and have already told our family and friends about this amazing gem!

My partner and I came up here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. I had never been to big bear before and Brad and Amber’s home absolutely made our entire visit. The house is in an amazing area, quiet and private but just 5-10 minutes from all the action. The home was clean and pristine. It has the most amazing view and great patio space. Amber and Brad were so kind and responsive- we could tell that they really cared about our stay! We will absolutely be back soon and we can’t wait to stay here again.

The perfect Airbnb! The highlight is the yard. Great fenced in yard for dogs, hot tub was easy to use and was super clean, hammocks were amazing to lounge back and you really feel the private space despite being on a pretty tight street. Appears to be a hiking trail at the end of the road. Easy drive to the village and the lake. Great modern amenities (like AC:Heater) but with the old school cabin charm. We will definitely be booking this again!

This place was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. It was close to everything, but also secluded and relaxing. Definitely would recommend this to everyone.

Love this little cottage close to the lake. I think the biggest part I loved that wasn’t part of the home is the manual that she had drafted up . It’s perfect if it’s your first time in town and you have no idea what to do in the area. It’s also very helpful because it tells you exactly what you need to do to check in and to check out. It also provides information of what is allowed and not allowed in the house which is 👌🏽. It’s a beautiful home with everything you need. Perfect for children. My kids(7 and 6) especially loved the ping pong table. We came here in the summer which was perfect but I can see that it would be even better to visit during the winter. They offer so many amenities such as heated bathroom, thermostat, as well as the sleds and snowball makers. I wish we could stay longer! Truly an amazing space that was planned perfectly for travelers!

This place was perfect! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight for us was the backyard — it was spacious, fully fenced, and perfect for our German Shepherd to run and play safely. Eric was responsive and friendly and everything was just as described. Highly recommend, especially if you have dogs!

Omygosh, this property is magically magnificent. The grounds are absolutely beautiful starting with the beautiful staircase down to the property. The lake view literally took my breath away. I almost want to gate keep this property. The cabin was, clean, warm and cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. I had a wonderful steak dinner which I grilled outside and ate in the gazebo. The cabin is truly vintage and very unique. It really is amazing to step into 1940’s experience. This is my favorite Big bear lake cabin and I will be returning few more times this summer. Cindy was so amazing every step of the way. She checked on me to make sure I was safe, settled and happy. I absolutely love this property ❤️

The home was great for myself and my three friends for a boys trip. The kitchen was fully stoked to make ourselves delicious meals and the beds were comfy. We loved relaxing in the big backyard under the trees and lounging around listening to music with the provided record player. The proximity was to the Big Bear Village, which includes restaurants, shops, and bars was simply walking distance away, which was amazing. We all truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Lake Arrowhead. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of brewing coffee options, ample cookware, a functioning grill, plenty of towels and cozy blankets for sitting outside in the morning enjoying hot coffee and looking at the lake. It was a perfect stay. We had a great time at the lake and truly relished our stay and the splendid lake views. No better way to kick off the summer!

great location, clean and cozy home, we loved walking to the lake multiple times a day, we also loved grilling on the balcony! also it's 30 min drive to big bear and lake arrowhead – super convenient!

I absolutely loved my stay at the cabin! The space was serene, stylish and thoughtfully curated which was just the kind of energy I needed. Everything aligned with rest and restoration! The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the outdoor space was a beautiful bonus. I appreciated the attention to detail and clear communication.

We had a peaceful and cozy stay at this cabin in Big Bear. The space was well-stocked with the basic amenities and even a few extras, and we really appreciated the clear and thoughtful instructions provided by the host. It made everything easy and stress-free. One thing to note: the walkway up to the cabin is definitely a workout. It's a bit of a climb, so I wouldn't recommend it for small children or elderly guests, especially if you're bringing a lot of stuff. Thankfully, we packed light and managed just fine. As with any mountain retreat, you should be okay with a few critters. We found a couple of bees inside when we arrived, but Dena had some tape available to help trap them. There were also spider webs on the outdoor furniture, so be sure to check before sitting down. On our last morning, we noticed quite a few ants in the shower…but again, it's the mountains, and that kind of comes with the territory. Overall we had a great time and it’s a beautiful location!

This cabin was perfect! It had everything I needed and more. It is a bit of a ways away from the park and other amenities but because of that it is very quiet and serene. I’d definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! If you’re on the fence, DO IT! The lake is a 2 min walk from the house and it is gorgeous. Allie provides all the fun things you’d need to have a great day on the lake. The home is super clean, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. My favorite part was sitting out on the deck with the string lights on during sunset. Beds are amazingly comfortable, and it just felt like we were right at home. Highly recommend staying here, you’ll never want to leave!
