At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

Definitivamente uno de mis Airbnb favoritos en el mundo! La vista de la habitación es espectacular. El apartamento está muy bien equipado con lo necesario para cocinar (ya que sí utilizamos la cocina). Tiene parqueo a unos metros del lugar y una vista insuperable. Nosotros usamos el jacuzzi que también funcionaba al 100. El lugar es ideal para desconectarse ya que se siente como estar dentro de la montaña. La llegada fue muy fácil gracias a la comunicación con el anfitrión. Estoy encantada, regresaría mil veces.

Incredible place, what you see in the photos is really what you get. Pristine clean, tidy, cozy, peaceful. The hosts are adorable. I was able to meditate with Carlos one night at their gorgeous meditation room. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrived. Gem 💎 place and location. Very easy to get into the hussling street of Santander 5q for tuk tuk. Excellent, excellent, excellent! I was able to rest really well here. The garden is gorgeous also! Thank you both! Loved my stay here 🫶💕💕💕

This place is nice & spacious inside & out. They have good coffee in the kitchen, candles to light, beach towels, an ironing board & a huge balcony. Views from every window. Only thing is the locks are very confusing & as a woman I would’ve liked not to worry about that. Also be mindful with your luggage it’s 2 flights of stairs to get to the front door. But nonetheless they’re very kind people & were very quick to respond to all our inquiries offer recommendations & went out of their way to assure we’re all good when there was a mix up with our checkout. Cute beachy feeling place I found to be with such a beautiful unique private view of the lake & two chairs to take it all in it almost felt lucky to have that all to ourselves

Este viaje era por compromiso y debido a eso necesitaba un lugar donde pasar la noche que fuera céntrico. Pero me encontré con una belleza escondida y súper acogedora. Ricardo fue muy amable, si en realidad buscas desconectar un momento y rodearte de mucha naturaleza y tranquilidad este es un lugar perfecto. Lo único que le falto a mi viaje fue tiempo para quedarme más acá! Realmente es un lugar único y el pueblo merece toda la pena. Muchas gracias por todo! Deseando volver pronto desde ya.
