Vacation rentals with breakfast in San Andres and Providencia

Rosa and Leonidas are awesome hosts they make you feel very welcome as part of their family and community. The Mangrove House is a great place to get away from the fast paced world and slow down to an island beat. Your room is clean and spacious with excellent internet and their is breakfast and taxi service right on the property. The home is adjacent to a fantastic beach teeming with a network of shallow coral vallies. The reef is abundant with marine life and I saw a few nurse sharks milling about so bring a good set of snorkel and fins. Restaurants and a convenience store are nearby and it is easy to take the ubiquitous local buses downtown and back. An awesome braidist and a cool beach side open air reggae bar are a few meters away. If your thing is to laze and relax on an uncrowded beach, swim and snorkel in clear colorful water or take a few cool pics with your mate on a quiet beach then check out the Mangrove House.

Schaquira was responsive before and throughout our stay. Breakfast was well-served and delicious: she served us eggs (scrambled with onions and tomatoes), fresh juice, coffee, and mixed fruits daily. The bed was comfy and large (king-sized). The bedroom and bathroom were clean (we’re very allergic, so this is an important point). The water was cold, but we already knew that (it’s so hot on the island - 30°C - that the cold water was actually welcome). She’s making constant renovations and improvements to the place. Accommodations are simple and homey. The location is a little over 30mins to the center by foot, so we recommend renting a motorcycle or a car if you have a longer stay, as cabs will cost anywhere from 15-30K COP each way. We rented a motorcycle for 80K COP/day. The sunsets are beautiful and the walk seemed safe and was pleasant. Finally, Schaquira is extremely nice and accommodating. We were happy with our stay. Es un alojamiento hermoso, la casa es amplia, tiene excelente distribución, las habitaciones son grandes, el ambiente tranquilo, fresco y la piscina es perfecta para llegar a refrescarse después de un día de playa. La atención de Santiago y Ana María superan las expectativas, dan excelentes recomendaciones incluidos los restaurantes Lupita y los 80s la comida deliciosa. Definitivamente, un lugar al que con gusto volveríamos.

Un excelente lugar para descansar, es muy tranquilo y alejado de ruido, el personal es muy amable y están atentos a dar las recomendaciones que se requiere. Se debe tener en cuenta que no hay tiendas cercanas, lo que recomiendo que tan pronto se llegue a la isla, realizar las compras de las provisiones que se necesitan para llevarlas de una vez. Lo recomiendo sin duda.😊🤙🏼🙏🏼

Absolute paradise on earth- we loved every second of staying in Providencia and Miss Francia's home was perfect for our stay. Zunny and Sandra were excellent hosts who would promptly answer all our questions (before and during our stay) and resolved any issues we had as quickly as possible! The neighbours, especially Javier and residents of the island are also very friendly and approachable and made our stay magical, with many inviting us to their homes. We felt like part of the family in Providencia! We were picked up by our amazing diving instructor Marcos right in front of Miss Francia's home and couldn't imagine a better place than this to go diving from. Another highlight was walking from our room to Morgan's Head early in the morning to go snorkelling- so many beautiful tropical fish! Being a vegetarian, food choices were limited until we met Tashy who created the most delicious vegetarian food on the Island and the best vegetarian burger I had ever had! Thank you for having us!

Definitivamente uno de los mejores lugares donde me he alojado, la calidad humana, el entorno, las instalaciones, el cariño y preocupación de estelita, Jorge y Steven, de verdad que nos fuimos con el corazon hinchado de alegria y cariño de parte de todos...queda pendiente una conversa con Carlos con unas frias para que cuente la historia del lugar, pero eso nos obliga a retornar sin lugar a dudas...dicen que uno siempre vuelve donde fue feliz y fuimos inmensamente felices asi que volveremos amigos!!! 100 de 100

Jairo est un hôte exceptionnel, dans les meilleurs hôtes que j’ai visité (si ce n’est pas le meilleurs) ! Il m’a accueille avec une attention particulière, il m’a expliqué en détail l’île de Providencia avec un bon café. Tout au long de mon séjour, il ma grandement aidé et a facilité mon voyage. Avec ses contacts, j’ai pu louer facilement un scooter, faire une excursion en bateau, manger dans de bons restaurants ! Les déjeuners sont aussi très bons 😋 ! La chambre et la maison sont parfaites, telle que décrites sur l’annonce. Bref je recommande à 100% ce petit paradis sur terre ! J’espère y revenir !

We stayed in the house for about 9 nights and it was a pretty last-minute arrangement. Ovida was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay, always ready with an answer for everything we asked. The family was absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, outside of town so if you want to go to the central parts it’s good to rent a bike or you need to count with buses and taxis, but otherwise- perfect. Quiet, peaceful, within 2 minutes walking from a gorgeous beach with amazing snorkelling, diving and plain swimming opportunities. Sadly the room wasn’t entirely as clean as I would have preferred but apart from that small detail, i and my partner absolutely enjoyed staying there and would return happily for our next time.

Naeeth and her husband were warm-hearted and welcoming. They cared a lot for my well beeing. The room is like in the pictures and you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise. The kitchen is not yet ready (there’s a fridge and a sink). Motos are actually not as easy accessible as on San Andres, so ask for it early enough. I can recommend it very much to stay with them - i enjoyed it!

Jairo y Jenni fueron unos excelentes anfitriones. Desde que entramos nos sentimos como en casa, muy cómodos. Siempre contamos con la ayuda y excelente disposición para organizar paseos, actividades, qué y donde comer. Disponibles 100% para entregar información y ayudarnos. Realmente fue una experiencia fantástica. Con mi hijo quedamos super felices de haberlos elegido en nuestra estancia en Old Providence. Los felicito por lo ordenada, organizada y limpieza de su casa, todos los detalles suman y la buena energía se siente.

El lugar es muy lindo, nos encantó la habitación, su balcón y su vista. Una habitación muy espaciosa con aire acondicionado y cama king size. El desayuno muy rico, la atención de Stella es excelente. Volveremos

De lejos, una de mis mejores experiencias con Airbnb! Liz y su esposo siempre fueron muy hospitalarios conmigo y siempre estaban dispuestos para dar el mejor servicio durante mi certificación de buceo. Los espacios del alojamiento eran muy pacíficos, limpios y tranquilos. Definitivamente un excelente lugar para descansar, alejado de zonas congestionadas y disfrutar de las maravillosas vistas y paisajes de San Andrés. 100% recomendado y espero volver muy pronto con mi familia 🫶🏻.
