Beverly is so sweet! She gave us so many recommendations and always answered quickly. Not only that but she makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. Her house is beautiful whether you want a quick walk to the beach or to sit on the dock, listen to the sound and watch the sunset or see the stars. There’s a sidewalk right off the driveway that is well paved and makes for amazing walks. Overall her and her house made our trip amazing!!

This house was very well equipped for preparing meals and accommodating our large family. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms adequate for our needs. The store across the street was very convenient, but the tradeoff was the traffic noise. We loved the back deck! It was like sitting in a treehouse with a view to the sound. We used the grill and cooked some delicious meals. We loved the large wide open living area, and the reverse floor plan! We would definitely come back!

We had such a great stay at the Shore Shack! It was the perfect little escape—super cozy, clean, and well thought out. One of the best parts was how pet-friendly it was. The fully fenced-in yard was a huge plus for our pup, and it made relaxing so much easier knowing he could safely roam around. The hot tub was amazing after a long day, and the space felt really peaceful and private. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming spot. Highly recommend for a quick getaway—especially if you’re bringing your dog along!

We had a great time at Sushma’s house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like dishwasher pods and trash bags. We also appreciated the availability of sand toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pool floats and beach chairs. There were numerous decks to enjoy the sound side views. The house was spacious and very comfy. We split our time between the ocean, the pool, the sound side and even took the ferry to Ocracoke. Sushma was very responsive and a great host. We have rented from outer beaches realty in the past and this was a far superior experience.
