There is a fire pit at a large site with seating area and Jacuzzi overlooking the river. There is a barbecue area in front of the annex. Best fishing is 07/15 - 08/31. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence. There are also many opportunities for activities such as Finnvali Nature Park with fishing in trout water where there is boat and canoe rental. Alpine facilities are about 5 min drive away. It is a 10 min. drive to Beiarfjellet, which is an attractive hiking area in summer and winter. If you drive further, you will end up in Beiarn. There is a lot of information about things to do in Beiarn on the website of «Beiarpuls.no». There is, among other things, a significant salmon river.

Ski equipment can be rented. Feel free to visit the Mining Museum and experience Sulitjelma's unique history as a mining and industrial community. How about a trip to Jakobsbakken, an old mining village in the high mountains? Or just take advantage of the unique lighting conditions and explore the starry sky and the northern lights? The possibilities are many.

There are 8 beds in the cabin, and two in an annex, so two families can vacation together. There are games for both adults and children. TV with satellite and many TV channels. Large and well equipped kitchen. The cabin is located about 300m up the terrain, and is unfortunately not adapted for the disabled. No running water.

The apartment has a king size bed and a 120 cm bed. A cot can be added if needed. Setså is located in the middle of the towns of Fauske and Rognan, and 6.8 miles from Bodø, and 6.3 miles from Saltstraumen. Setså is a natural starting point for seeing the sights of Salten and all its history, including the Blood Road Museum, the war cemetery in Botn, the exit to the former mining community in Sulitjelma, or just a few nights of peace and quiet before you move on to the next destination.
