These walk up rooms on the third floor of our 1875 Victorian have been newly and carefully designed to host you. With 900 square feet the space is an excellent base from which small groups and families can explore downtown Salem and the maritime North Shore from Newburyport to Marblehead. We are a 12 minute walk or 3 minute Uber from the attractions of downtown Salem (0.68 miles) and 0.5 miles from the Salem train station with its convenient access to Boston via 25 minute scenic train ride.

The Buffum House is a new, clean, and loved 1,200 sq/ft 2nd floor apt. in North Salem, just outside of downtown. Close enough to walk everywhere but slightly nestled into a historic neighborhood that gets away from the craziness. It is the best of both worlds. The train is a 5 minute walk but far enough to not hear it. North Salem has a few coffeeshops and breakfast joints a stone throw away. And, oh yeah, the apartment is awesome! There’s also a neighborhood market with beer/wine and some groceries 1 minute walk from the apartment. Plenty of street parking. Take a 5 minute Uber ride or 15-20min walk into downtown Salem and enjoy its rich history. Easy access to Rt. 128 and Rt. 1.

This first floor unit in my newly renovated two-family home is 3/4 of a mile from downtown Salem with all its attractions. Guests have two off-street parking spaces in a tandem configuration. Inside there is a master suite with an en-suite bathroom and queen bed, a second bedroom with another queen size bed and a second full bathroom. The kitchen is completely new with quartz counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There is also a laundry room that guests are free to use.

Nestled within the historical Derby Street neighborhood in Salem, MA, The House of Three Gables offers 3 comfortable bedrooms, a livingroom w/tv, and a full kitchen.
