The building is designed to make the most of the "space that extends to the back" that is unique to a Kyoto townhouse. The view and space flow smoothly from the courtyard to the living room and the back garden, allowing you to feel the light and breeze of the four seasons while indoors. A water basin is placed between the garden and the living room, and the greenery and light reflected on the water gently color the space. From the open-air bath, you can enjoy a view of the spacious garden, and you can spend a luxurious time with the sound of birds in the morning and surrounded by the quiet moonlight at night.The Japanese-style room in the detached building has a sliding door made of handmade Japanese paper from Nara and Yoshino. You can spend a relaxing time reading, drinking tea, etc. in a space bathed in soft light.
