"La Bárcena" Country house, Saja

Our accommodation is located in the heart of La Reserva del Saja, ideal for hiking, mountain biking and outdoor activities. From our balcony you can hear the 'berrea' (the sound that deer make during the mating period at the beginning of autumn). We have a large terrace with a barbecue for enjoying outdoor meals and dinners on the banks of the Saja River. Nearby is the Saja-Besaya Interpretation Center and Bárcena Mayor, the oldest village in Cantabria.

In this recently renovated stone house of almost 100m2 (1070 sq ft) you can enjoy the charms of Caranceja, a quiet town in Cantabria by the Saja River, and with the convenience of being just a few minutes from so many tourist attractions and things to do. This is a two-story house. It has two bedrooms with 160cm (5'3") wide beds (one of them extendible), a large living/dining room with a 120cm (4'0”) sofa bed, a full kitchen and two bathrooms.
