Perfect staycation for our family and our 2 dogs who enjoyed the lawn area more than anything. Pramod is the star of the show who is an amazing cook and was very supportive throughout our stay. The property is home away from home and should be treated like so. If you travel during summers, Pramod will be kind to bring the local variety of berries. A local market and petrol pump is only 5 mins drive away but you would still be able to enjoye the peacefulness of the mountain.

It was a great stay at this property, very helpful and friendly host shekhar ji. very good organic farm fresh food. clean rooms and bathroom as well. property is at very good location for calm environment. They have there own farm and garden. you can walk around and enjoy the surroundings. clear cut view of snowcapped mountains from the room balcony. A must visit property and special thanks to our shekhu bhai for all the hospitality.

We had a nice and comfortable stay at the property, as it is situated almost at the hilltop with fruit farms all around, providing peace and solitude. The views of The Himalayas are mesmerizing along with the experience of watching the 'Golden Hour' while listening to the chirping of the birds. All our needs were well taken care of by the staff, having polite and helpful nature. We loved staying at Jannat. Fresh fruit trees, Amazing flowers everywhere, beautiful views and gardens to relax. We spent most of our time on the deck outdoors eating, having tea, doing yoga and relaxing. The caretakers prakash and pushpa were very hospitable and helpful. Prakash is a super passionate gardener, cooks good simple Indian food and nice barbecues and fab maggi in the hills :D, he also came with us for sightseeing and showed us some super sights. Sunil the owner was super responsive and helpful with great tips on what to do around the area. What made the stay even more memorable was the dog Noor- super playful and gentle. The house has about 30-40 steps to go up and down and maybe difficult for elderly people. Highly recommended. We would definitely visit again.

It is very rare that you find a stay where you come out feeling warmer and inspired. Manzar is that rarity. The place is picture perfect! The views are stunning. The house is surrounded by nature and flowers but not in the curated way. Waking up to the bird songs is magical. Rooms are beautifully designed and every small corner is a piece of art. All your needs are considered and provided for. But what makes the place that rarity is our host, Achla ji and her people. She is warm, considerate, kind, patient, fiercely independent and progressive. As if that wasn't enough, she is an outstanding cook! Then there is Jaya didi. Her help. A warm and loving person. Always ready with a smile and a chat. Dinesh bhaiya is a mostly quite and yet forever eager to help young man. And then there is Coffee! The resident dog. I don't think I've seen a calmer and sweeter pupper! Loves attention and pets and fetch. I think we left a part of our hearts with her. Cannot wait to go back!

We spent 3 days including New Year's Eve at Aikkya. Their place is ideally located with great views, peace and quiet. Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated and was very clean. We liked the fact that their cottages are built with local building techniques, are sustainable and still have the modern amenities and comforts. We especially loved the common lounge/dining area with it's wood burning stove. It's the ideal place to chill, get to meet the other guests, eat and drink. Shivani and Avijeet go to great lengths to cater to the tastes of each of their guests, cooking different cuisines and offering variety. We had some delicious meals and got to taste an authentic Kumaoni spread. At the end of our stay, we left knowing that we will be back.

If you want to get away from the chaos of city life.... Mer Homestay is the place to be at. Starting from the drive through the jungle towards the resort is an experience itself... then the cute cottages which have beautiful himalayan views from the bed itself the vast green land which has beautiful step farms and fruit trees spread all across. We also got the experience of doing our bit of farming in the farms which was so satisfying. But above all, the real hero of the place is the host Yashwant ji. He has that great quality that makes you feel at home instantly. He is always there giving suggestions about where to go, what to see, but never intruding your privacy. So again, a no brainer incase you want to experience real offbeat life but with all required amenities.
