Clean cottage and breathtaking location!

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

Beautiful cottage, very charming, super well furnished and beautiful location close to the river. Our stay was during the winter and it was very beautiful, whether it was the cottage and its surroundings, I can't imagine during the summer. Quickly respond to messages and requests. No complaints. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

This stay was a real break from tranquility, allowing us to do nothing and recharge our batteries to the fullest. Simon responds quickly and clearly, making communication smooth and enjoyable. I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Extended family stay with 3 children and 8 adults. Very spacious, clean, and cozy cottage. The modules, trampoline and pool were very popular with the little ones.

Indoor convenience: there's everything! Even aluminum foil and Saran wrap, coffee, tea! wow, we feel your goal, that we are well! Outdoors: Even wood for the fire! Dock/Kayak/Hot Tub/BBQ We appreciated the information and the door with a number lock. Too bad the jetskis are allowed to make noise after 8 p.m.😉 A wonderful relaxing stay.

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful century-old house, full of charm and history. The scenery is breathtaking, with incredible sunsets on the river. At low tide, it's possible to walk along the beachfront, which adds a magical touch to the experience. The house is warm, welcoming, surrounded by beautiful, well-maintained grounds. We feel that hosts generously share a little slice of heaven that is dear to them. A perfect place to relax!

Everything was perfect, The view of the lake from the jacuzzi is priceless. Super equipped, very spacious. Very clean. Stephanie was very nice and the cabin is a special place to enjoy as a family or with friends.

It's a nice place and the calm requested by the hosts is respected by all visitors. Which is very much appreciated. I went alone to focus on a writing project and it was perfect. I will go back with my boyfriend because I enjoyed it very much but I will make sure to rent a cottage where the hot tub and fireplace are attached to my cottage only. For a better sense of privacy☺️. Note that the spa/lounge area is right across from the cottage and visible through the patio doors so very close all the same. The sunsets are beautiful and the calm is worth the trip. Thanks to the hosts for this wonderful stay!

The chalet was nice and cozy! The weather was beautiful with the exception of the last day, and we spent all weekend sitting outside looking at the view. Loved the island and the accessibility of the house.
