The riverside cottage was very peaceful and had a wonderful view down the waterway. It was quite cozy and had all the amenities you could ask for in a vacation getaway. Our family had a beautiful stay and would love to return again soon!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Amazing apartment and land surrounding. The animals are all very friendly. Felt so at home and not uncomfortable at all!

Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway at Sylviane and Emeric's farm BnB to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. We were warmly greeted by Emeric’s mother and their friendly dog, Zouk, who welcomed us and showed us to our room. The suite was spotless and beautifully maintained—truly a cozy retreat. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the room and at their newly opened café, which was a highlight of the trip. The freshly baked pastries and bread were incredible, the lunches were top-notch (the sourdough mushroom pizza is a must-try!), and the grazing platter offered a true gourmet farm-to-table experience. Butte and Bine is a stunning family-run farm with hosts who are clearly passionate about sustainability, community, and warm hospitality. Their entrepreneurial spirit and deep local connection are truly inspiring. We can’t wait for the chance to return. Highly, highly recommend!
