Our newly renovated apartment will welcome you. In a nice area surrounded by open fields and close to the historical center of the village our apartment is the perfect place to start or end the day. If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. Of course families with kids and/or pets are welcome too. Free parking for 1 car and WiFi is included.

Walking/cycling paradise

The house is suitable for couples and families (with children) and is located in the middle of the quiet village. In the vicinity there is a castle (The castle of Reuland is one of the most beautiful and largest ruins of the Ardennes) and the St. Stephen's Church to visit. You can wander in nature (hiking trails available) and cycle. Bicycles can be rented from the tourist service in the village. In snow, one can go cross-country skiing in Rodt.

My place is close to family-friendly activities (Coo, Plopsacoo) and Stavelot city center. Walks (on foot or by bike) are easily accessible as is the Spa-francorchamps circuit. You'll love my place because of the people, the ambiance, the outdoor spaces, the neighborhood, and the brightness. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with kids (possibility to add a folding bed and/or cot).

Recreation in the castle barn (apartment "granary")

Kronenburg is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Eifel. The apartment is located in the castle ring, which can only be accessed by residents and guests by car. The medieval alleys with the church, the castle ruins, the former castle & various restaurants and cafes invite you to stroll and relax. The reservoir can be reached on foot in 10 minutes for swimming, sunbathing, fishing, etc.

Half-timbered country house in the Eifel

The country house was built in 1983 with a lot of oak wood and half-timbered elements. The number of vacation options is almost unlimited. Hikes, bike rides and Tennis courts on surrounding courts and halls. The nearest golf course is about 12 km away. Two reservoirs nearby invite you to swim and fish in summer. The Nürburgring is within easy reach. Accommodation with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of space.

Farmhouse from the early 19th century. century, core renovation 2013-2017, completely sustainable and ecological building fabric for a perfect spatial and feel-good climate, in harmony with design and nature. Various leisure activities such as Lake Bütgenbach, the Ravel (extended bike path) 500 m from the house, typical and culturally influenced cities, countless cycling and hiking trails, gastronomy.

Lonely House

Completely renovated former flagman's house situated on the international cycling trail "RAVEL" which leads from Troisvierges (Luxembourg) to Aachen (Germany), 125 km. The railway tracks were demolished and flooded. The house is now situated near a small stream, surrounded bay nature in complete quietness, far from any settlement.

We wanted a green place, away from the city, to enjoy peace, quiet, nature, good food and drinks, invite friends, ... but the house is also the perfect place for a 'workation'. Discount if you rent for a week. Saturdays are light gray because you cannot arrive on that day.

After our daughter has grown fled, we have newly renovated our basement apartment and are happy to make it available to you cheaply for your stay in Aachen. Our quiet detached house is located on the edge of the Eifel in the beautiful village of Kornelimünster near Aachen.
