3 bedroom apartment in the grounds of a Chateau

HeleenRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a fantastic holiday with our 2 kids (3yrs & 10 months). They both had their own room & Sarah had foreseen a baby crib with a very good mattress. The house was really good with everything we needed. The pool is very big & the first part is all 75 cm where our daughter could stand. We visited two small beautifull cities (both 15min drive) & also Angoulême (45 min drive). There is a minigolf & pizzeria on 1 min walk. Communication with Sarah was very easy. she’s a super host! Thank you very much

Le Grenier, charming cottage

NicolasRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We were warmly welcomed by Caroline, she was attentive to our well-being and comfort throughout the week. When we arrived, we found something to “eat and drink” which made it very easy for us to start our stay. The level of equipment is higher than what is advertised: large bath towels + fluffy pool towels, coffee pods, full breakfast, herbal teas and tea, comfortable garden and rest furniture, large private garden. To watch the Olympics, the big screen was perfect! The pool area is particularly nice and well done, the layout is very relaxing. The spaces for the different homes are distinct and allow everyone's privacy. We leave with fond memories of each place we enjoyed at Caroline's

Small cozy house

HélèneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were hosted very well by Corinne who was very accommodating to ensure that our stay with our baby went smoothly. The accommodation is in a very good location and very cozy. I would recommend it.
A communal dining table is set outdoors under a wooden structure. Soft candlelight glows, illuminating wine glasses and decorative napkins. Guests are gathered around, enjoying each other's company in a lively atmosphere, with a backdrop of a dark sky and distant greenery.

Toutvent Manor Near Aubeterre

JarrodRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at this chateau. 16 friends stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting the area for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The bedrooms are all very large, there are more than enough bathrooms throughout the chateau and the social rooms are fantastic. The garden is lovely and very large. Georgina and Owen were brilliants hosts. They were very quick to respond to any questions before the visit and during and had really useful local knowledge for shops to go to. They were extremely accommodating around checkin and checkout times and we couldn’t have asked for more from them. They were on hand for any issues we had at the chateau. I’d highly recommend this lovely chateau to anyone visiting the area with a large group. You would definitely need hire vehicles given how rural the location is but it makes it even more remote and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay
A sunlit area features a rectangular swimming pool surrounded by a stone patio. Two loungers are positioned nearby, accompanied by a large umbrella providing shade. Lush greenery is visible beyond the pool area, enhancing the tranquil setting.

Charming Traditional House

BrigitteRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is a charming cottage decorated with taste. the range equipment supplied in the kitchen was possibly the best I've had in a holiday rental. Having wood for the fire was a very nice touch. Anne was super welcoming and informative and she knows the area very well. All together a great little place.

Wonderfull gite in the country side

MarinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was great! Derk and his wife were very attentive and warm hosts, who welcome us and explained all about the region. The house corresponds to the pictures: it is beautiful, comfortable and cozy, has all the needed appliances for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Bathroom and shower are really good quality, living room extremely comfortable with a nice woodfire and the TV is actually larger than you can tell from the pictures. The garden is the highlight of the house, with a stunning view and a relaxing outside area for meals. The villages in the region are nice, with little shops, restaurants and sight seeing. Great recommendation for relaxing vacations! We would definitely like to stay in the Gite again in the future :) (and we love Ramsi, the golden retriever). Thank you Derk and family, we had a great time!

Farm campsite – Ecolodge 5 people

YsalineRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Very nice glamping experience. Conveniently furnished safari tent, modern and spacious bathroom, all equipped with the necessities for a pleasant stay. The domain is very child-friendly. There is a swing, sandpit, playhouse, trampoline, enclosed swimming pool. The presence of the animals was also very nice for our children. Helping with the care of the animals daily was an absolute top moment. The surroundings are also very relaxing: vast fields, beautiful starry sky in clear weather, the silence. Sandrine and her husband were very likeable, friendly and passionate hosts. They were welcoming and very sweet with the kids. A gem for those who love peace and quiet. Both as a stopover and for a long stay highly recommended!

Le Petit Raisin, Moulin de la Barde

OlivierRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Jo and Gary are great hosts, very attentive to the well-being of the guests. The accommodation is very well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated the tranquility of the place (little passage on the road that led to the cottage), and especially the pool that offered a swim at a comfortable temperature. There is a very good bakery in the village of Saint-Severin and the pretty village of Aubeterre-sur-Drone is close, if you want to take a short drive. In the end, it's a great place for a relaxing stay.
