Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Happy and warm week. Very bright accommodation with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Nothing is missing to live your vacation well, everything is clean. It is missing a microwave and a kettle; eco-friendly fireplace is required. The photos were well taken as the trees have since grown on the panoramic view. Hot tub very welcome. Safety improvements offered especially for children: missing railings throughout the basement including behind ping pong, sliding door of the 1-seater bedroom, ... Beautiful area with many remarkable activities and sights.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

We had a lovely stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for hosting us as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

Armand and Stéphanie were fabulous, friendly and considerate hosts. The location is great and peaceful, a magnificent restoration work has been done. A plus for the beautiful jacuzzi that we couldn't use for weather reasons, but that's only part of it. You can go there without so much as a second thought (not too much because you have to look at the road), you won't be disappointed.

A fantastic week away in a beautiful property within stunning surroundings. Had a very relaxing break and loved the pool, hot tub and sauna. Our young adult son made the most of the gym and we enjoyed a couple of hikes and bike rides in the idyllic countryside. The house is truly wonderful and Paul is a fabulous host who is very responsive. Look forward to returning some time soon.

What a charm when you arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a wooded and well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. Exceptional hospitality from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very sweet and generous and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well-kept. Quality bedding and linens. Pleasure from the morning to open the windows, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 min from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It's a peaceful haven with beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Claude and Marie-Christine's place is a real little haven of peace, very welcoming and responsive hosts. the little outdoor space is very nice and relaxing! Everything is done to feel at home there! nothing is missing! the environment is beautiful and absolutely quiet! it's an address that I keep precious!!

We liked the house and the area where it is very much. The house was very clean and neat. Ideal for going with dogs because it has a fenced garden. We enjoyed riding around the area by bike. A highly recommended place to visit. Jean-Paul was very welcoming

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

The location of the accommodation in the region is perfect. But even better if you want solitude and quiet in a garden. Everything is possible in the chicken coop! And Agnes and her family are both very welcoming and very discreet. I loved it.

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

The location was peaceful and calm, and the house was well maintained and spacious. The garden was well kept. It was a great place to spend a week.

The riverside accommodation is magical, the hosts are great and on the ball, we had a great (but too short) time.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. From the moment we opened the door of our car, we fell in love. The house is very charming and surroundings absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our son loved the wildlife and was constantly on the lookout for new bugs, birds, and lizards. The loirs was no doubt his favorites. Our daughter spent a lot of time in the pool, which was bigger than expected and very nice. We had parents and inlaws coming to visit, a total of 8 at the most. We were very comfortable in the house, if you needed some time alone there was always possible to find a quiet spot inside or outside. We found it as a good base for daytrips in the region, there is a lot to see and do, but need a car. We have been to many places around the world, having an international family, and it is the first time we have been really sad to leave. (Even the kids that was looking forward to Disneyland). Abigail has been a great host, quick replies and very helpful. Many thanks again for letting us live in in your beautiful house.

Very beautiful house typical of the Périgord region and very pleasant. Close to all tourist places and central for all visits. We were able to enjoy the pool despite the weather not being very suitable.

Beautiful setting, very welcoming people, we immediately felt very comfortable, for those who love flowers it is a real joy. Spectacular stay at Le Cheval Blanc! We loved our week at this large but charming house in the countryside. Beautiful, clean and cozy bedrooms! Large comfortable living room area with a wood stove that came in handy in the unusually cool September. The kitchen-wow. The best appointed kitchen we have ever encountered! And then, there are the hosts that went above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal. Delicious welcome meal and a well stocked fridge to get us started. Bill and Jill were friendly and very helpful. Walks in the area possible. Many villages to visit within an hour or two. It was an amazing week. You should stay at Le Cheval Blanc!
