The Annexe (guesthouse) - Vacques Wine Estate

We had a lovely stay at Carole and Christian’s gite. The location is beautiful…on a vineyard at the top of a hill with lovely views and lots of open space. Also very close to the Dordogne. The gite is fairly basic (kitchen especially) but full of character and well worth the money. The pool is also lovely and Carole and Christian are excellent hosts. Christian showed us around his vineyard and we chose some of his excellent wine. We would recommend.
The image captures a tranquil pool illuminated by the soft glow of the setting sun. Lush trees line the background, providing a natural contrast to the clear water. The peaceful ambiance invites relaxation while showcasing the serene surroundings.

Les Cabrolles. Vineyard view - Charming cottage

PaulaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was really exceptional, very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, we slept very well there. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is spacious and pleasant, the whole place is welcoming. The environment is very soothing, and the outside is very pleasant too. The pool was more than welcome on these hot days and we had a great time there. Thank you to our hosts who were really very welcoming, and very kind, always available and attentive to us. We'll be happy to go back.
A tranquil garden pathway is adorned with blooming wisteria and varied flora, creating a canopy of purple and green. A wooden gate is visible at the end, allowing access to the serene surroundings. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting gentle shadows on the gravel path.

Cottage at the gates of Dordogne and Périgord

Impeccable stay at Dominique's, it feels like home. Tastefully decorated interior, good bedding, huge garden for children with lots of games, fenced for dogs, enough to rest and enjoy a barbecue, delicious vegetable garden tomatoes... Pretty visits nearby or further away, on the advice of our host. We recommend eyes a second thought!
An outdoor dining area is set against the backdrop of a vibrant sunset. A table with a decorative centerpiece and a wine bottle is surrounded by chairs, while the stone wall of the windmill enhances the rustic charm of the scene.

Without contest the best place to stay in the region, and probably my favorite airbnb ever. Artfully renovated, clean, in a beautiful setting and with the best possible hosts. Tall people mind your head on the stairs lol

Character house in the Foyenne bastide

AlexRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We loved our stay at Lola’s place in Sainte Foy La Grande. The house was beautiful and full of history with modern updates. The kitchen had every thing you could want with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, and the essentials. The beds were comfortable and it was a nice touch to have an extra sleeping space in the primary bedroom. The living and dining space is perfect for a large family with ample space for everyone to relax. If you are worried at all about air conditioning, do not worry. Lola provides fans for every room and even in 95*F heat we were cool inside. We also really enjoyed the village of Sainte Foy la Grande. It is quiet but there are a number of good restaurants and bars close by. We stayed almost 3 weeks without a car and had no issues between walking and the train. Overall, we can’t recommend this house enough!
