La maison est située au calme au milieu de la verdure et des oiseaux. Elle est bien indépendante de la maison de Christian et Christine située juste derrière. La maison est très bien équipée et confortable intérieur comme extérieur (salon de jardin, transat, boulodrome, ….). Nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur et les conseils de Christian ont été précieux. Nous avons profité de la tranquillité des lieux et effectué de nombreuses visites et promenades dans les environs. En résumé un séjour très agréable et de belles rencontres.

Très bel appartement rénové avec goût. Petite attention dans le réfrigérateur appréciable. boîte à clef très pratique pour des arrivées tardives. merci

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amandine was so welcoming and helpful making many recommendations. The property is in a lovely location and offers amazing accommodation that feels very homely. With a hot tub and pool you are spoilt for choice. Only 10 mins from Sarlat and 15 mins from Domme it is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Highly recommended

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison. tout était parfait, au calme avec la nature. la piscine et tous les équipement de la maison ont fait de notre séjour, de supers vacances. vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, le contact avec Cornelia est toujours très bien passé.

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au creux de la Dordogne. L'endroit est magnifique, on surplombe les bois alentours, le lieu est calme et paisible, si vous aimez la tranquillité ce logement est pour vous. Piscine chauffée et équipements extérieur vraiment très bien, étant malade ainsi que ma maman, nous avons apprécié ! le logement est fonctionnel et très bien équipé, les propriétaires et Jessyca ont été très réactifs à nos questions et sont présents au moindre souci, très compréhensives et gentilles, nous les en remercions 😊

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

magnifique endroit paisible accompagné par les coassements des grenouilles et les sauts de carpes...un régal...le spa par une chaleur accablante un vrai délice... par contre déçus de ne pas pouvoir fermer la porte à clé, du canapé vraiment pas confortable même si nous avons passé notre temps à l'extérieur du chalet, de la couette avec beaucoup de tâches...sans ces petits bémols, le séjour a été idyllique , la région ne demande qu'à être découverte !!! propriétaires très discrets er accueillants

We have stayed in some amazing places in our time, but this has to be the most beautiful, stunning, amazing place we have ever been to. Diana was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. We will remember this holiday for the rest of our lives, the gites were just perfect, the area was outstanding, we loved every moment and didn’t want to come home! The bed was phenomenal and a real treat as we only have a double at home….we were in sheer luxury!! We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Très beau logement à la déco très soignée et recherchée, très bien équipé, avec beaucoup de charme, très confortable ; nous y avons séjourné vers la mi-février et il a fait assez frais au rez-de-chaussée malgré le chauffage, ce qui n’était pas le cas dans les étages ; le poêle est bienvenu et très agréable mais il ne suffit pas forcément à chauffer, ou pas immédiatement ; nous le recommandons donc vivement mais il faut prévoir de quoi se couvrir en hiver même si le logement propose des plaids pour les frileux ; nous avons également apprécié le petit bonjour de Bridget à notre arrivée, la bouteille de vin et le cake ! Pas grand chose à redire donc sur ce très beau logement, allez-y les yeux fermés . .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (avec deux jeunes enfants et notre chien). Le logement était impeccable, très propre, agréable à vivre et parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. L’environnement est calme et reposant, idéal pour se ressourcer. L’hôte a été très accueillant et réactif à nos messages, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus serein. Les procédures d’arrivée et de départ sont simples et pratiques. Nous recommandons sans hésiter. Merci encore.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux dans la maison d’Eleanor et Thomas. Elle est magnifique, très bien entretenue, et décorée avec goût. Tout a été pensé dans les moindres détails pour que l’on se sente bien dès l’arrivée. Rien ne manque, tout est parfaitement équipé. Eleanor et Thomas sont des hôtes attentionnés et très réactifs. Leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité ont rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. Nous recommandons cette adresse les yeux fermés et espérons avoir l’occasion d’y revenir bientôt !

Vraiment un gite exceptionnel. Beaucoup de petits plus , notamment gants de toilette, serviettes, torchons, vaisselle pas du tout dépareillée., petit abri pour le véhicule, excellente literie hote discrète et attentionnée et excellemment accueil de leur toutou envers le notre Merite un 5 etoiles .

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!
