This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

This was my second stay at this Airbnb, and it was just as fantastic as the first—if not better! Returning felt like coming back to a peaceful little retreat. The space remains just as charming, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with every detail designed for comfort and ease. This time around, I was able to fully enjoy the private outdoor patio, and it truly elevated the experience. Whether sipping coffee in the crisp morning air or winding down with a cocktail in the evening, it quickly became my favorite spot to relax. The hosts continue to go above and beyond—warm, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making every stay exceptional. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Still highly recommend without hesitation!

I had a great stay at Uche’s place! The space was very clean and well-kept, just as described in the listing. Uche was super responsive and provided clear, helpful information throughout my stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place was very cozy, felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet yet minutes away from Dc sights. Everything was well thought out and details covered from kitchen items to bathroom amenities. Very convenient having laundry too as it was raining when we arrived and we were able to launder our wet clothes! Keatons recommendations were thorough and helpful in planning meals. Would absolutely stay again.

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

Chris's place is in a beautiful, sweet, quiet neighborhood full of beautiful homes and a vibrant community. It is very walkable and we had a great time exploring.

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

Wish we could have stayed longer! We didn’t need to bring anything. All linens, paper products, towels, and kitchenware were provided. Right down to mosquito spray. picnic blankets, and s’mores. Charles was helpful, flexible, kind, and available. He was willing to give my kids and I an up close lesson on beekeeping. He has 5 well maintained hives on his property and was eager for us to come along checking in on them. It was very impressive! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. There are a few paths to venture out on. One lead to the private beach, another out to a close view of the bay. The deck was the show stopper. The view of the water was amazing. While sitting on the deck, there were hummingbirds, butterflies, and deer passing through. And we could see all of this from the comfort of the hot tub . The game room was a nice bonus. There was something for everyone: darts, poker, drawing, puzzles, movies, board games. I appreciate you sharing your cottage with us!

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—honestly better than my own at home—with 5-6 large pots, an Instant Pot, every spice you could think of,peelers (which saved me!), and both a NutriBullet and a regular blender. It made cooking for the family a breeze. The kid had a blast on the trampoline, and we all loved the easy beach access with calm waters perfect for swimming all day and kayaking. The beach was also perfect for a peaceful morning run, and at night we could see the lighthouse light on the water. The porch quickly became our favorite spot—we gathered there to watch a rainstorm and were treated to a stunning double rainbow. The sky was full of stars at night, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The grill on the porch made cooking super convenient. We enjoyed being close to a large park where we played pickleball. The beds were large and comfortable—everyone slept really well. Michael was a fantastic host—very attentive and accommodating.

5 stars — Perfect waterfront retreat for a wedding weekend! We stayed at this beautiful waterfront property for our wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The views were absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful, picturesque backdrop for such a special occasion. The home was spotless, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Garrett and Lauren, were incredibly responsive and accommodating, which made planning and check-in a breeze. And we’re so gracious in any last minute asks or needs we requested! We loved spending time on the deck, taking in the sunrise over the water, and relaxing with family and friends. The location felt private but was still convenient to nearby restaurants and shops. We would stay at this property again and again, our family that was present for the getting ready portion Saturday morning cannot stop talking about the property/home. This property is a must! Thank you for making our wedding weekend so memorable.

Jess' place is fantastic! Truly, our favorite AirBnB to date. We will return when we are visiting the area again. We loved how clean, spacious, and peaceful the home is inside and the beautiful spaces to relax and enjoy outside, too. All five of us had space to spend quality time together and on our own throughout our stay. Very thoughtfully furnished, proactive communication, and simple check-in and out! 10/10.

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

The location is peaceful, private and gorgeous. It is as just what I wanted and needed for my 50th girls getaway! We loved every second there! The beds were comfy, location was quiet, the water and outdoor amenities were perfect! We easily made it work for 6 girls and one bathroom- which was no issue at all! A storm came through and left us a beautiful double rainbow! There is a resident bunny who comes out mornings to forage. We spent most of our time relaxing by the water with the chairs, loungers and umbrellas! My daughter and her friend played safely and happily on the shore by the water and my friend and I kayaked over by the cliffs. It was a perfect weekend at Colin’s and we plan to come back again! What fun and relaxation we had in a private setting with very nice neighbors. It went BEYOND our expectations! Colin was always kind and super timely when responding to any needs. We will be back! 💓🙌🏼

Edna’s place was perfect for my sister and I visiting relatives that live in Lusby. The property is beautifully updated and extremely comfortable! Edna checked in to ensure all was to our liking. Everything you can think of was there for a meal preparation and then some. Next time I back I truly hope this place is available!

This is a rare find and a real treat. I was visiting DC from the UK and had originally planned to stay in a hotel in downtown but as I live in a quiet English village I was worried about lack of sleep from the big city buzz. I searched for an Airbnb (as I always favour these v hotels) which highlighted safety and peace - and Celia's lovely apartment came up. This is such a fabulous place to stay in DC: very quiet and safe area, no night time noise, within 5 minutes of the metro station for a quick same-line journey to the centre, and very clean and comfortable. I loved every minute. The icing on the cake is it's such a great value. Thank you so much, Celia.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious place with (private) parking just right across the street from us. It was quiet and the hosts were extremely responsive and super helpful and friendly! When we come to DC again, we'll definitely book if available :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. I definitely loved this home soooo spotless felt right at home. You might hear people walking here and there BUT it’s not an all the time thing, other than that it’s so peaceful. Kitchen is beautiful and has all the spices you kinda need if you wanna cook, bed was sooooooo comfortable and the living room was so inviting. It’s close to food spots banks grocery stores, etc. I’m definitely booking again.

My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

My girlfriends and I were in Washington DC for National Police Week & were looking for a place close to the city but reasonably priced. We found Chris’s place. It had everything we needed. It was clean, modern, just as described & came with a book of recommendations. The area is nice & we felt safe. Great restaurants. The bus & train r walking distance. We learned how to use public transportation instead to taking our car to avoid traffic and parking fees. My bedroom window faced the street so I could hear the cars & people walk by but when I turned on the fan I didn’t hear anything. Also this is a Renovated basement & have upstairs neighbors & can hear them walking around so if u r looking for a super silent place then this isn’t the place for u. It didn’t bother us. It has a private entrance and it was super easy to find. Chris was so attentive & helped with whatever we needed. He was an awesome host!
