Within walking distance (about 600 m) is the river Le Gartempe, where there are plenty of places to take a refreshing dip. The cyclist can also indulge. For the mountain biker (possibly available), touring cyclist and recreational cyclist, there are countless possibilities through the woods, along the river or through the countryside. For the hikers among us, the possibilities are endless. For the horseback riders, there is a riding school a few kilometers away. Ideally located near Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé and the historic town of Angles-sur-l’Anglin, Chenevaux follows the gentle rhythm of French countryside life.

Village house with garden

Located in the center of the village, the house has been recently renovated. It is spacious (around 1100 sq f on 2 levels). On the ground floor you have a big living and dining room , a separated kitchen, and a toilet. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. In the bathroom you have a large shower and a double sink, and another toilet. Our own house is right here on the same land so you may see us in the garden. We have set up a space just for you with table and chairs and some long chairs.

At the end of 2023, we completely restored an old barn into 2 studios (touching) that can accommodate up to 6 people. The 1st includes a bay window, 1 living area with TV, 1 fully equipped kitchen area, 1 sitting area with 1 double bed, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 vanity unit, 1 toilet. the 2nd serves as a dormitory with 4 single beds and 1 bathroom with shower, 1 vanity unit, 1 toilet.

Le Hameau du Breuil, located in the heart of the Poitou countryside, at the gates of the Abbey of Saint-Savin (UNESCO World Heritage Site), promises you serenity and authenticity. Isle en Brenne Cottage

Nestled in the park of the castle of Isle, the cottage of Isle en Brenne in a bucolic setting, has a large living space. A bay window opens onto a charming courtyard where to share outdoors, but sheltered from the sun and small showers, good convivial moments. The kitchen, open to the living room and the courtyard (ideal in case of rain). A few steps of wood and offers you a comfortable and soft bed framed by a veil of muslin. For Baby: folding bed

La maison Carré - romantic house on river, 2p

The former ferry house has been completely restored and converted into a vacation home for 2 people, since July 2022. Beautiful setting next to the river, l'Anglin, overlooking the bridge, the château and the village Angles-sur-l'Anglin. The house has its own garden, and there is a private beach on the estate. The barque is ready on the river, wonderful swimming in front of the door or further on at the Moulin de Remerle or the Moulin du Pré.
