This was one of my favourite stays in France. The accommodation is rustic but for me it was perfect. The location was so peaceful (and close to some really interesting ancient sites) that I felt I could have stayed there longer. The cat is totally adorable... we became firm friends during my time there so much so that I woke to find her cuddled up next to me. Fully recommended - I will definitely stay here again!

Matheu is truly a super nice host. Friendly, caring and informative. The area is beautiful, suitable for nice walks. The tranquility, with the rushing Creuse in the background, is beneficial. The gite contains everything you need and with a private garden with apple trees and free-roaming chickens it is a small paradise. One highly recommended!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay by the stove! Beautiful walks from the cottage. Chantal's accommodation is authentic, clean and functional, we recommend it :)

We had a great week at Caudine's place. This one is a very charming village house completely renovated with taste, well-equipped and functional, and whose inner courtyard offers a very nice terrace. The house is ideally located for visiting this beautiful department that is the Creuse. Our hosts Claudine, Emma and Charlotte were very responsive and very easy to connect. We recommend this place without hesitation!

We spent a week in a nice cottage with downstairs the kitchen with everything you need to cook on the 4-burner gas stove. Shower and toilet also downstairs. Upstairs 2 rooms, each with a double bed. Beds were covered upon arrival. Sylvain, a very friendly man, had prepared coffee and madeleines for breakfast. Beautiful neighborhood, much to do. Don't forget to take an evening walk to the dolmens of Ménardeix (1.5 km).
