During your stay in this spacious, soothing place to stay, you'll forget all your concerns. The silence on the property is deafening. If you want peace and quiet, but still opportunities for excursions, you have come to the right place. In the autumn/winter period you will hear the deer barking in the evening. In summer, the starry sky is particularly impressive. The grounds are fully fenced. Sandra and Vincent are more than pleased to welcome you. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and chickens of our own.

Charming split level, open plan gite, converted from an old stone barn attached to the family fermette set amongst fields, hedgerows and trees. Wood burning stove heating.Located on a peaceful rural lane close to the local village. Wonderful forest walks in close proximity. All mod cons and plenty of car parking space. Light and airy. There are numerous places of interest in the area serving a wide variety of tastes, as well as plenty of routes to explore for ramblers, walkers and cyclists.

Bio cotton bedding. 4km from N10 giving easy access to Ruffec or Mansle with supermarkets bars restaurants, markets. Both 15mins drive. Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.
