This home offered more than just a place to sleep; it provided an experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the sunrise and sunset. Each morning/night the windows framed a breathtaking spectacle of colors, transforming the room into a vibrant canvas. The positioning of the house along the water maximized this natural asset, creating a sense of tranquility and escape. Beyond the view, the apartment was clean and well-equipped. Looking to experience this place again and the beautiful French community that makes the town even more appealing.

This Airbnb was exactly what we needed! It's a peaceful escape in a beautiful location right on the lake. The cottage has everything needed for the stay, making it incredibly convenient. The host is responsive and friendly, which made our experience even better. I highly recommended it if you are looking for a lakefront cottage!

Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

I highly recommend the place - interiors excellent, host very friendly and to the point, surroundings are serene and tranquil. Space wise, it’s not for more than 11 people in my opinion. 5 dedicated bedrooms for 2 persons each and then 1 more bedroom in the basement but the bed is wall to wall, so good enough for 1 bachelor. Really good couches but wouldn’t recommend them to sleep overnight unless you’re trying to cut on budget. Definitely didn’t feel like it’s good enough for 19 people as advertised, good that we were just 12 with a kid. In a nutshell, bet your money on it if you’re planning a peaceful vacation for 11 people. Thanks Renato!

Agréable séjour dans ce magnifique petit refuge dans la forêt. Le site est tranquille donne accès à de beaux sentiers de randonnée. On reviendra certainement 😊

Magnifique séjour dans votre chalet. Endroit très tranquille et près de la rivière avec des belles chambres. Le spa, l'emplacement de feu et le pavillon moustiquaire ont été très appréciés pour nos moments à l'extérieur! Merci beaucoup pour la petite surprise sucrée à notre arrivée!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Laurence et Patrick ! Tout était parfaitement conforme à la description du chalet. Le chalet familial nous a permis de nous sentir comme chez nous, tout en étant complètement dépaysés grâce à la vue imprenable sur le lac. Nous ne manquions de rien : le chalet était très bien équipé, avec du bois à disposition et la possibilité d’utiliser le jacuzzi, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Laurence et Patrick ont été très réactifs et attentifs à nos différentes demandes. Un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil !

The place was super cozy and had a really welcoming vibe—just perfect for a summer break. Also, Sophie was a great host, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. I hope to find the cabin in future as well for my next visit.

Johanne’s place was great, a very restful and peaceful stop over on my bike trip! Very well equipped just like home and I was beyond thrilled to be able to cook my own dinner. The place is beautifully situated next to the water and I enjoyed hearing all the different birds in the morning :)

Très convivial ! De petites attentions particulièrement appréciées : verres de bière offerts à l’arrivée, café proposé pour la route, etc. Accueil chaleureux avec visite des lieux et bons conseils sur les activités aux alentours. Merci encore pour ce beau séjour !

Veruska’s home was exactly as described, it was very comfortable, enjoyed the heated floors and fireplace. It was very well stocked, appreciated having some essentials (sugar), the kitchen had all the right cooking and serving dishes to make great meals. The beds were comfortable with great linens. I would definitely stay again and recommend. The views are beautiful and the location to the ski hill was great!

We had a lovely three days at Daniel’s chalet. The place was brand new and super clean, and the queen bed was very comfortable. Despite using just a portion of the house, we still had enough areas for the two of us to work, nap, cook, and play board games (both indoors and on the patio). Lake Thomas is beautiful, but the only issue we had was putting the kayak into the lake - there were floods just before we arrived, so we would be knee deep in mud when entering the kayak. Swimming was much easier to do, as we jumped into deep water from the quay. When swimming be sure to try out the little green and white floaties - they’re so much fun! 🙂 At the time of our stay, the space between the chalet and the lake was rocky (there is no grassy areas) and unfinished (as per the photos), so we couldn’t sit by the lake except on the quay. We are feeling refreshed by the water and calmed by the quiet nature around the lake, and would surely return! Thanks, Daniel!

Beautiful home and stunning location, the pictures don’t do the Airbnb justice! Perfect place for a relaxed weekend away. The location is set right in the middle of a wooded area next to a small lake so the bugs are numerous (to be expected when in nature), so make sure to pack lots of bug repellent and afterbite cream!

Bel endroit paisible et chaleureux. Les chevreuils étaient beaux et nous les avons nourris avec quelques carottes. Vraiment magnifique! Service impeccable de notre hôte, même à distance, nous avons eu le service d’un voisin pour partir la génératrice car nous avons eu une panne de courant. Tout fonctionnait très bien et le manque d’électricité n’a aucunement impacté notre séjour.

Très bel endroit. Grand et accueillant. C'était parfait pour 2 familles. Nous avons été aux glissades de St-Jean-De-Matha à seulement 20 minutes. Je recommence ce chalet. J'ai apprécié la rapidité de réponse des hôtes. Merci

Nous avons adoré le chalet! Parfait pour une escapade en famille. L’endroit était beau et chaleureux, et correspondait parfaitement aux photos et à la description. J'y suis allée en weekend avec mon copain et l'endroit était impeccable. L'intérieur est chaleureux. Je recommande!

Demeure alliant charme et confort. Malgré une arrivée plus tôt que prévu Marie-Pier nous a accueilli avec gentillesse. Quartier paisible avec les services à proximité. Parc régional de Portneuf à 25 minutes où randonnées et canot vous attendent à des prix très attractifs (juste ne pas oublier le répulsif à moustiques). Séjour excellent

The place is magic!! We had a beautiful stay. Very clear instructions, the view from the Chalet is just something else! Comfortable beds, lots of towels, essentials in the kitchen. We had everything we needed. The only negative perhaps is the cleaning.... we had to pass the broom for the whole chalet because there were more than 200 ladybugs inside, mostly dead on the floors, and we also had to clean the grill. There was hair in the jacuzzi upstairs and the furniture on the main floor could use a bit of cleaning. But everything else was simply amazing. If you come with small kids, be aware there is no security for the stairs, looks like once there was, but not anymore. The lake was still frozen, but espectacular view from the deck and the place next to the lake to spend time when the weather allows has everything you need. I would definitely repeat.
