We will also give you some information as days of local market and places to visit because there are an abundance of medieval and renaissance villages and hamlets to explore within the region. Le Moulin Gite

Le Moulin is a self contained gite next to the pretty river Bandiat. It sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. Guests enjoy a large private kitchen and living space and an en suite bathroom with every room. A cot may be added. Dogs are welcome for a charge of 10€ per night per dog. Le Moulin gite has a seating area outside and access to the 8ha of grounds. This garden is not fenced and is bisected by access to the host's property. Menet is a castle built in the 12th century on the right bank of the Tardoire, close to the friendly and lively village of Montbron. This family home is classified as a Historic Monument, and has been the subject of a major renovation project. The location of the castle is exceptional, surrounded by nature, overlooking the Tardoire River and an old mill. A very large south-facing terrace allows you to enjoy this view.
