There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Celine's place is fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. House was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked to prepare dinner after a trip to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the view of the English Chanel was great! Location was excellent! Short drive to D-Day activities and Bayeux. It was a short walk down to the English Channel, which made for very relaxing evenings. House was very easy to find and operating the lock box was easy as well. Everything was as described and we were very pleased with our experience overall. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

From the beginning a warm welcome from Julie, and a warm feeling when entering the house. A beautiful, cozily furnished house, with all amenities. Located in a quiet, green area. Plenty of privacy, large garden where the children could play. The location of the house is convenient, to combine with trips in Normandy. Such as the landing beaches, Honfleur. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, an experience not to forget!!

A good stay of a few days at Stéphanie's. Welcoming and ideal house for discovering Caen, Bayeux and the landing beaches. 200 m from the sea. Good quality bedding. Clean dishes. Convenient bathroom. Nice garden. Beautiful terrace. In short, positive. Looking forward to returning.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We recommend this accommodation: cozy, clean and tidy, space for business, good location, etc. Everything is done to make you feel at home, but better. There's even a nice electric fireplace. Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Very good stay, I would highly recommend it

It's not easy to find a place to stay for a family or friends get together. Everything is there here. Number of bedrooms and beds, recreational equipment for children and adults, dishes, seats, all in number for a large group. It's clean. My garden is nice, like the house. Thanks again for this weekend!

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We spent Christmas and New Year at Marianne's place for 6 (+toddler and dog)! It is a beautiful,cozy and modern house with sea views! Each couple has their own area incl. Bathroom. The fully fenced garden was great for our dog and the fireplace brought the right mood! The beach is within walking distance! By car, you can quickly get to shopping and get to all the typical sights of Normandy relatively quickly We would definitely come back!

We found the house as we were presented and as we expected it. The part of the house is well and sympathetically furnished. There was nothing missing in the kitchen. We really enjoyed the conservatory. However, I would have considered here in high summer, as shading of the glass roof was not possible. I highly recommend this as the place to stay.

We went here for an extended family break with small kids. It was perfect! The garden was big with beautiful cherry trees that tasted absolutely delicious! There was so much space for the children to run around and a beautiful terrace so sit out on in the evenings. The house was perfect and kitted out for all we needed. There aren’t many amenities around so you have to drive to the shops but that was fine. The walk to the beach was lovely and only 1km away, the children loved playing there. Louise was very helpful and very responsive, the place was very clean and not cluttered. A very stylish house! We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Thank you!
