Great place on the west bank, close to all the visiting tourist sites and hot air ballooning too.

....had a wonderful time. Staff are very friendly and helpful and shady areas, pools and bungalow are very comfortable and have everything a traditional traveller needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Staying in Le Kibalaou was beautiful. The staff is super kind and helpful, the food is amazing, it‘s directly at the beach with hammocks and beds. In 1,5h you can walk on the beach to Cap Skirring or 1h to Diembering. There are no other restaurants in walking distance, you can only leave with the motorbike or car. You can also ask Aliou for an excursion to villages and sights in the area.

This place is very special.Birders will love the variety of species here.Good fishing opportunies and just amazing scenery. The lodge is spacious. Hospitality with Maria and locals,some of them workers is bohemian and in my view as it should be.Enjoyed good food especially the very fresh fish. There is plans for some workshops when enough interest. Musicians artists and creative's will love being here.So book yourself in and have a special time here in Cassamasse/Kartong Gambia.Abene festival 26th December until 2nd January. Riverside Festival following week. Kartong has a larger event in Febuary. If you like the bohemian and creative persuits or fishing in the estuary, you will probably want to return.I felt privileged to share the dream for 9days .Definitely want to return very soon.Peace and love.

A wonderful week at Farid's who made us feel very welcome. A cheerful man who opened his haven of peace to us with his heart on his sleeve. We enjoyed this type of quiet and very well-decorated place, far from the noise of the city and conducive to friendly encounters....

This is a dream destination. The lodge feels like a piece of art, and the beach is miraculous. Kibalaou is authentic and speaks to the heart.

I had a wonderful stay! Ferid helped me with renting a car and organizing an excursion for me, and always made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay in Dakhla. The food was delicious and the art and decor was beautiful! I would definitely go back there again :)

We had a wonderful stay with Victor and his staff! Hosted in a setting in the heart of nature and cut off from everything, our stay was perfect! The meals were delicious, varied and depending on our tastes. We even helped prepare traditional Tokyo dishes with the staff. The farm is huge and allows them to be self-sufficient . Thanks to Claude for this knowledge and for the tour! The outdoor activities (Wome waterfalls, Mount Agou, etc.) were incredible with local guides (offered by Victor at very reasonable prices). Aliou and the Diop family welcomed us with a lot of kindness and sweetness. The stay was absolutely great thanks to a fairytale setting (fireflies, traditional stories and other surprises...) and a festive atmosphere (songs, dances, board games with family and friends...). Our hosts were very attentive to our needs. The food was great (thanks again to the chef). I would recommend it in a second.

I had a wonderful stay at Azab's place. The house was very clean and Azab is very helpful. Qenut is very kind as well. They both helped me have a very pleasant stay. Totally recommend !!

The location of the house is very good, 900 meters to the ferry terminal for five minutes, there is a bank exchanged for foreign currency at the intersection, the host is very friendly, the communication is smooth, and the response is timely!The house is big, you can cook, take a bath, and the air conditioning is very powerful!Best prices!

While in Luxor you can expect A very warm and hospitable environment Qenut and Azab are very down to earth and accommodating to one's needs! A very comfortable place while in Luxor! They also do tours of the Nile, Pyramids, group Nile cruise excursions (10 or more) and desert excursions. Very modern living conditions on the West Bank in Luxor.

Ali's place is a little gem. its well away from the tourist trail, you'll be the only tourist in the village 🙂 and for me it was a welcome break from the tourist areas of Cairo and Luxor. its much more relaxed, and you get to see a different side of Egypt and Egyptian hospitality. Ali is a great host, speaks English and other languages, and is very attentive and helpful. i felt at ease, we had deep conversations about many things, which was great and different to other experiences. he helped me find drivers at a good price and who had a great energy. the special treat for me was the food - local cuisine cooked by a family next door who cater for the local community for weddings etc, the food was authentic, plentiful (one order was enough for two meals), and delicious. the apartment I stayed in has only just been opened, and there's some work to do bring it to the same standard as Ali's other place next door, but it had everything I needed to enjoy my stay and I'm very grateful 🙏🏼

My stay at Jennifer and Flo's place was incredible, I was drawn to their beautiful garden as I love green spaces, the vibrant bougainvillea, and the range of fruit trees. What's not to love? Apart from the garden, they were very organised, and were both extremely helpful at all times. This is a wonderful family environment, it's truly a home-from-home. Flo makes an incredible Hibiscus and Ginger tea(all from their garden). Jennifer is a font of knowledge when it comes to finding out information in Ghana. Mary is an incredible cook and Nicholas goes above and beyond to help. As a person who travels all over the world, generally, my reviews are on average 3 lines long, but that wouldn't do my stay here justice. I highly recommend your stay here, and I will definitely be back. Thank you Jennifer and Flo

I have stayed in this Airbnb three times—about a month in total. It is a great environment, complete with proximity to the water and even some pet goats. When I fell ill in my most recent stay, Joe and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. I am so grateful to have been in such a welcoming and caring guest house.

I had the most wonderful stay at MAF Village. All of the staff are so friendly, they knew my name from the second day! I was travelling alone for work, and felt absolutely safe and comfortable at MAF Village. There is security to enter the area and security guards walk the pathways often. The restaurant was great. I only got to enjoy breakfast one morning but I HIGHLY recommend the continental with omelette. I also particularly enjoyed the whole fish in the evening. Overall, a great trip and I hope to be back!
