Barn vacation rentals in Sahara Desert

I cannot say enough good things about the space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The bed and lounging areas were very comfortable. The outdoor areas were beaylutiful and we'll maintained. The owner checked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We would love to return and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful villa! Would highly recommend staying here. There’s 3 cats that are within the villa walls who are super friendly and great company! If you want to explore outside of Fasoula you’d likely need a car but the area is lovely!

We stayed at the house for 2 weeks in August. It was really great and we enjoyed every day! The house is equipped with everything you can think of (even a juice extractor!) you really do not need to bring anything else than your personal belongings and beach towls. Everything is very clean and well-tended. A cleaning lady comes once a week and changes the towls and bed-linen. This house is one of four houses - a former farm - and has a quite huge private terrace. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Everything looks exactly as shown on the pictures! The houses are located ca. 20 min. by car from La Orotava / Los Realejos. The streets you have to follow up the mountain are quite small and steep, but good to manage. The property lies very quite at the end of the little mountain village of Las Llanadas. Often there are clouds in the valley but the house is above the clouds and you can enjoy the sun. It's really a wonderful and cozy place. You can easily explore the whole island, go hiking, to the beaches, visit Anaga and Teno mountains, the Teide or do sightseeing of the very beautiful cities of La Laguna and Santa Cruz. So if you are searching for a traditonal and quite place apart from the main tourism you are absolutly right at Rural House Las Llanadas! The owners María and Santiago are very nice and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable! They med us in La Orotava and went with us up to the house. They showed us everything and gave many tips for sightseeing. María had equipped the house with the first necessary things such as milk, coffee, juice, water and bread. She even brought us fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables from her garden. That was so nice and a very personal welcome!! The house is really cozy and well-tended, it is an old and rustic former farm house (stable) and offers "rural charme". María and Santiago are always available by mobile phone and are very, very helpful!

The house is perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying in a rural location but with the airport 10/15 minutes away and a village 200m away. The property is a lovely chalet set in 360 degree countryside. It is great for walking and relaxing but also well located to explore the island. The downstairs living space is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and cosy living room area including a wood fire. The downstairs bedrooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Both bathrooms were also spotlessly clean. The upstairs bedroom is on a mezzanine, but around a corner from the balcony - so you are enclosed away from the living areas downstairs. Joana was a fantastic host - she was always very helpful and informative and provided some lovely local breads and jams on arrival. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the place which has a soul highlighted by Claudio and Michaela. The house is pleasant and filled with beautiful stories about the renovation of this magnificent mill. We hope to return and would highly recommend it. Thank you so much and hope to see you next time!

The house was clean, the garden was nice and the location was really good. We also appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier. Some things could be improved. The garden furniture and barbecue were rusty, and a lot of the kitchen stuff wasn’t very clean. The bed was quite hard and small if you are taller than 1.75. With a bit more care it could be a much more comfortable stay. Overall it was an okay stay and we enjoyed the surroundings.

The Eco Barn was absolutely perfect for a few days away with our 16 month old. Great space, with a lovely little playhouse next door and a great playground. The honesty shop was a godsend when we needed something quick and easy to eat. We really enjoyed collecting eggs from the chickens and visiting the donkeys each morning. Great location, just a few minutes from the beach and lovely beachside restaurant and mojito bar. We were unlucky with the weather (Jan/Feb), but would love to come back a little later in the year to make the most of the Finca.

We had a very nice time. The accommodations are private and relaxing. Very nice dining is just a short drive away. Wish we had stayed longer!
