Here you can also go for walks in the woods or on local peaks or on a day trip to Folgefonna summer ski resort. Trolltunga can also be a destination if you want to go on a long trip.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken farmyard on Os. In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.

Hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, and about 5 minutes walking distance to grocery store and bus stop.

From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When the wind blows on the sea you can see white sea spray up the islets and reefs all the way west to Løno. Here, you can arrive by boat or kayak. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
