Põlva Cultural Center and the city center are a few (walking) minutes away. The apartment has a double bedroom, a cozy kitchen and a living room with a balcony. Nearby there is a good sport hall Mesikäpa (Kesk 25), swimming pool and saunas (Uus 3) and the best restoran (Uus 5).

We rented this apartment because it is close to the border between Estonia and Russia. It is only 12 km. The apartment is spacious and has a sauna. It is very quiet and surrounded by green Estonian forests. Our goal was to stay close to the border, but for those who love nature and want to visit Estonia it is a great place. The host is very kind and helpful.

I was a bit worried when I first drove up to the old communist era apartment block.... But once inside I found a very modern apartment, whew! If you travel when it warm, be aware the bedroom living room gets a lot of sunlight and is warm. Of course changes mid afternoon and the kitchen becomes warm. A cute little lake to swim in is very close as well as enjoying nature around you.

A well-lit living area features a modern white dresser beneath a flat-screen TV. Light wood flooring enhances the open space. A small bench and artwork add interest, while the entrance to a kitchenette is visible in the background.

Staying at Kersti's house was like staying at a friend's house. As soon as we arrived there, there was a warm welcome, we said we would like to cook some food and she gave us everything we needed. She even gave us chantarelles that she had picked the same day! The sauna was hot, we really enjoyed it. There is a nice sitting area outside, perfect for listening to some music or the sounds of nature. The house was lovely and cosy, with everything we could need. Kertu has collected books and leaflets about Setumaa and the area, which we found interesting and useful. We had a really good sleep there, there is a really good and peaceful energy. The surroundings were lovely, very close to the beach and forests. We even picked some chantarelles when on our way back home. Kersti is an amazing host, its great to stay in a Seto household and we would like to visit again when in the area :) We really recommend staying here!

Lovely place to stay , quiet , nature . The house is newly renovated , very warm , all number . A lot of towels were provided, clean linen . It's very nice that there is peace and quiet nearby (we even had forest animals ) Definitely, I recommend visiting this place , in order to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and be in silence and beauty .
