Visiting during summers can be quite a bore as most of the animals are hiding in the shades due to the unbearable heat in Dubai; however, it is a completely different story in winter. This is a much better place (much more animal friendly and humane) to observe wildlife than the zoos in the UAE.

This is the largest wetland conservation reserve in the entire country. It is home to the largest collection of birds in their natural habitat. The most iconic of which are the flamingos that come wandering to the birdwatching posts during feeding times! Entrance is completely free and it is an amazing experience for all bird lovers!

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary
Ras Al Khor RoadThis is the largest wetland conservation reserve in the entire country. It is home to the largest collection of birds in their natural habitat. The most iconic of which are the flamingos that come wandering to the birdwatching posts during feeding times! Entrance is completely free and it is an amazing experience for all bird lovers!

This is the old Dubai and the walls of this district contains the first sparks of Dubai. The museum and the old souks are all located in this area. The streets are filled with haggling merchants and little street food cafeterias that befit this once important trading hub in the Arabian Gulf.
