West Coast Villa is on Independent School Road which is in the middle of trails, including Five Canyon Open Space, Bay Area Ridge Trail, and Cull Canyon Regional Recreation Area. There are numerous loop trails and in / out trails. We often see deer, wild turkeys, and numerous small creatures.

Always be aware of motorcycles on the road or freeways. It is legal for them to "split" traffic.
California laws permit motorcycles to split lanes of traffic, even at high speeds. This means that you need to always be cautious when changing lanes to be sure that a motorcycle is not in between lanes of traffic.
