Raved about for having "the best tacos in NYC." They have a restaurant (on 4th Ave), but you'll want to hit up their taco truck (on 5th Ave and 37th St, just down the street from the apartment) for the full experience. Get a full meal for under $10, easy.

Dumplings, noodle soup, scallion pancakes. Just a quick walk through Sunset Park. Even with Chinese restaurants on every corner, this is still a favorite. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, but super authentic.
