There are two places we always take our out of town guests: Alicia’s in Sugar Pine and Kate’s in Columbia. Amazing chicken pot pie, everyone’s favorite sandwich, scones, and the teas!

We LOVE the Twain Harte Pharmacy! It reminds me of the small town "dimestore" I grew up with. Has all of your pharmacy needs, plus loads of other things. Great place to take kids to pick out a treat (toys, games, tchotchkes, etc) or to pick up a souvenir from the trip (Twain Harte postcards, bags, T-shirts, etc).
