Cahal Pech and Xunantunich, located just 10 miles from each other, give a very good impression of ancient Mayan administrative and ceremonial centers, respectively. After touring Cahal Pech, walk another half minute uphill to the resort, for swimming pools ($10 person) and a 'mean' Margarita, and excellent view of San Ignacio and Santa Elena Towns.
