Just one of San Francisco's fantastic parks. It houses the Conservatory of Flowers, the de Young Museum , California Academy of Sciences all great attractions on rainy days. Japanese Tea Garden, The Botanical Garden are good for families and couples or people who just love getting out and seeing what our beautiful city has to offer. AIDS Memorial Grove, An Old Dutch Windmill and so much more are free things to do in GOLDEN GATE PARK.

Traveler advice

What to pack

Subways are the fastest way to get around

But the Muni buses are not bad either and cheaper. Also Uber, Lift, and other driver pick up apps. Parking in any busy area is next to impossible and very expensive.
What to pack

Definitely dress in layers. Heavy socks or slipper in space.

S.F. microclimate demands being ready for any weather at any time. The sea breeze is chilling and the fog can be freezingly damp. We are in the fog bank, if it is foggy any where in the city it is here.
