A great place to have some very decent food in a quiet and refined atmosphere just off the busy place de la Monnaie. Please DO SHUN the Pop Up restaurant which is marring place de la Monnaie itself !

A yummy cheese shop with atmosphere !! All you can dream of in terms of cheese + some ham & pâté - and open until 7 pm !! Chez Catherine is an institution. Be ready to lick your fingers !!

Mhhhh !!!!! This praline shop is a feast for the eyes and for the taste buds !!!! Do try the Violette... And of course stay away from milk chocolate (which equals mixing water into wine !! Yuk !!).

Good food, great views, lovely terrace - but you will have to sit with tourists :-/ You can access the MIM restaurant without visiting the museum itself - but the museum is a very good one to see !

Try their canteen for lunch ! It's on the top floor - and they grow vegetable on the rooftop ! A way to peep into our world... ;-)

The flea market on Jeu de Balle is fun to see... The crowd is as improbable as some of the items that are sold there... And then try the Pin-Pon café housed in the ancient fire brigade barracks.
