Excellent fruit and vegetable market ! Opens at 7 am and closes at 2 pm. Chance are that at 7, very few stalls will be open so go a little later. Loads and loads of goodies, local specialities to take home, inside and outside of the main building. A great place to stock up the fridge. Highly recommended

Fruit and vegetable market worth visiting in the morning. Some very traditional Tuscan food stalls and on the second floor a great place for a different dining experience.

Apart from being the Medici's back garden, it's a quite spot to rest and it's in the centre of Florence. Well worth the visit.

The biggest park in Florence, it's has a few attractions of it's own, like The Medici's "Icebox". There's a pool for the hot summers and also and amphitheatre and on Tuesday mornings an open air market. This is also great place for a run or bike, a favourite for the locals.
