Excellent Thai food. Sister restaurant was reviewed by Anthony Bourdain (RIP) and given thumbs up. Garden seating is nice (misted in summer).

Same burgers you can get on Strip for half the price. Wagyu and Kobe hamburger is just the starting point - then comes the imaginative part. And they do have vegetarian burgers. Yes, any place good has a wait list, but its not that bad.

Sightseeing

You can find EVERYTHING on the Strip. Biggest casinos with different draws - big name concerts (touring and resident), big draw events (conventions, boxing match, poker tournaments), water show, food (food, and more food), stores to spend all the money you might have won, cirque du soleil (at least 7 resident shows), night life, daytime fun, and of course, lots of gambling 24 hours a day.

Everyone gets their picture taken here! And now you don't even have to risk your life getting from parking across street to the median. Summer has a long, long line.

Incredible structure and history. Go inside for the working tours. They now close at 5pm so no more night views which are phenomenal.

Drinks & Nightlife

Besides the gambling, assortment of restaurants, cinema (12 screens), bowling alleys, free resident and touring acts (Wes Winter on the piano, and Dirty at 11:30 comedy show, are just examples that come to mind). Get the idea this is a full service entertainment venue? All the horse shows and competitions are held here in the incredible show ring. Its not as touristy as the Strip casinos - its considered a locals place,

OK, my favorite....its upscale and doesn't smell of cigarette smoke. Quiet laid back vibe - not touristy. One of best pools for hanging out because it is never overcrowded. Did I say Wonderful Buffet? Its the best in Vegas and not over-priced for what you can get - including beer and wine.

Arts & Culture

A hands-on kind of museum and history of Las Vegas. There are still mobs now in Vegas, but I think we call them moguls.

First Friday of every month. Like a street fair with artists and their work. Sorta reminds me of the seventies....Lots of live music of every kind, street food. Not a bad place to take the kids. Lots of locals.

Everything Else

You will see things here you can't un-see... Lots and lots of alcohol, smoking, and gambling....definitely not for kids, IMHO. But there is the overhead light show that's fun, every half-hour and a zip line that runs right down the middle. Street vendors, at least four stages with DJ's or bands of different flavors and the old Vegas casinos like the Plaza, Golden Nugget, etc. A tourist hangout
