The museum features a treasure trove of photographs and memorabilia from Foster’s rich and colourful past, and their ever-changing exhibitions are always exceptionally well done. The Museum complex comprises the former Foster Post Office built in 1890, a one-teacher school building, a cottage, a bark hut and a more modern prefabricated school building used as a hall, is set in a terraced garden with Kaffir Hill at the back and Pearl Park in front.
