Porta San Giovanni (St. John's Gate) is another Medieval structure to protect Rome. It is very interesting to see it and to imagine how the are was 800 years ago!

They say this stairs were walked by Jesus. The Romans stole it from where it was and brought it to Rome. If you want to walk them, you have to do it on your knees. You can see it from outside too!
