Getting Around

This train station goes to London Bridge from platform 1. London Bridge is in zone 1 and from there you can get to all the major sites either walking or by tube. From London Bridge station, you can easily walk to The Shard, southbank (highly recommended to walk along the river), Tower Bridge and Tower of London. You will need an Oyster card to travel, which you can buy at East Dulwich station or at a newsagent. If you buy a travelcard (daily/weekly/monthly), you will mostly only need zones 1 and 2 (East Dulwich is zone 2). Alternatively, you can use "prepay" (topping up a fixed amount until it's used up). You must tap in and out at the oyster readers in stations.

Shopping

Go to Lordship Lane and North Cross Road for homeware, card and gift shops. I've tagged one homeware shop but just have a wander! There is a farmer's market on North Cross Road on Saturdays.
