Take the Central Line to High Holborn. Around the corner at 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields you will find Sir John Soane's house. A 19th Century architect he designed amongst other things the Bank of England and Dulwich Picture Gallery. His home is a wonder of collections and brilliant solutions for introducing light into the interior and tripling the wall space to hang his huge collection of prints, many by Hogarth. Entry is free.
