Food Scene

This is the most formal restaurant on the island and is very popular so make a reservation. It has a formal air-conditioned dining room or you can eat in the bar area overlooking the sound. Good selection of cocktails. Plenty of parking.

Peg Leg Pete's is always busy and for good reason. Also it is with-in walking distance of the condo so no designated driver needed.

They have a big selection of alcoholic "slushy" drinks. The best thing about Bamboo Willie's is the live music. This is an adult venue, you will be carded to go in.

Everything Else

Flounder's has it all. Good food, good selection of drinks, live music, beach. Parking can be difficult in peak season so take the trolley. Located at the boardwalk. Try their onion ring stack, you will only need one to share as it is massive. Complimentary, delicious honey butter rolls.

Good selection of eateries for all budgets. Good shops. Easy to get to on the free trolley. Also close to a very quiet, shallow beach that is great for small children and aplace where you can rent jet-skis, etc.

Sightseeing

I take all my out of town family and friends to Fort Pickens, and I haven't met anyone yet who hasn't had a good time there. The Fort and battlements are well preserved with a self guided tour available.
