Best coffee in town (they use Tandem Roasters). This is more of a to-go place but they do have some breakfast and lunch options! It is also super close to the house and you may cut through walkway directly across the top of Howard St.

As a vegetarian myself, this place is delightful. Even for my non-veggie friends, they thoroughly enjoy the food this place makes with great care. Filling meal for ~$10. They also have great smoothies.

This distillery has a mean cocktail bar and you can get your favorite liquor bottles to go. This is a bit outside of downtown, but still walkable or rent a city bike! Or a short drive/Uber from the house.

AMAZING COOKIES. Located just around the corner from the house. It’s a very fun experience, with a new lineup of 3 cookies each weekend. They’re only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sunday morning they do ‘Good morning Chubbies’ breakfast food and coffee.

Arts & Culture

One of the best art museums in the country. I'd recommend a visit on a rainy day, even if it's not quite Halloween related.
