Today we are talking about the Vermúdez Bar, yes with V, and the name is an original adaptation of the surname and its star appetizer, vermouth, which is prepared as the canons with olive and orange slice. In Valencia there is a neighborhood that is being reborn from its ashes, taking on color and above all character, that neighborhood is Ruzafa. Bohemian shops, artists, designers, a mixture of cultures and a rich gastronomy make spending an afternoon or night through its streets and terraces a highly recommended option in the capital of Turia. TYPICAL PLACES

Centennial restaurant specializing in paellas and Valencian cuisine. Tasty rice, Mediterranean sea, sunny terrace, illustrious visits and historical place. La Pepica restaurant celebrated in 1998 the centenary of its foundation. It was created by the married couple Francisco Balaguer Aranda, son of a Pricedente gatekeeper from Sagunto (Valencia) and Josefa Marqués Sanchís. The first, Francisco Balaguer began working in the port of Valencia, and she as an employee in a bar that served sandwiches to dockers and visitors. After getting married, very young, they set up their own eating house inside the port, until the moment they have to leave the port area, and outside, they continue to serve the same clients with sandwiches and refreshing drinks in a cart. It was King Alfonso XIII who granted Francisco Balaguer and 44 more the concession of being able to install their wooden barracks on the edge of the beach to serve bathers. Before granting them the definitive concession and building on site, the places of location in the town house were raffled every year. It was assembled in June and retired in September. In 1923, the meteorological environment continued to be very summery and they did not withdraw on their date and a storm in October destroyed all the installed barracks. The following year it was already built on site, adjusting to the draw of that year, in the place where it is today.
