This hut has the best restaurant of any in Tirol. A short walk from the Glungezerbahn, or a great day walk from the Patscherkopfelbahn. A five course dinner is 30EU, overnight accomodation is 20EU.

Sightseeing

The easiest summit to reach from Innsbruck. Take the Hungerburgbahn from Congress and then the cable car at Hungerburg. In Summer the walk to Pfeishutte is spectacular, 4 hours return.

An easy summit from Innsbruck. Take bus J to Igls and take the Patscherkofelbahn all the way up or stop at Heiligwasser for a great lunch. The Zirbenweg trail is an easy, beautiful walk from here.
