The Gobustan museum is a world-renowned UNESCO site with over 6000 pictographs and carvings in the rocks, dating back 10,000 years. Very interesting display, with knowledgeable guides who speak English and great scenery too. Its about a 45 minute drive from Baku, which is also an interesting tour. But there is no place to get food or drinks there, so stock up on the way.

This Square is located in the centre of the city and is famous because it's one of the oldest squares of Baku. Nowadays it's very modern and larger than it was many years ago. It always had many various fountains, cafes and also had many attractions for children. This square was also known as a place of free artists' gathering, the place where tourists could buy very beautiful pictures of "Old Baku", antiques and souvenirs. Nowdays there isn't passage full of artists and souvenirs, the fountains are reconstructed and unfortunately, the square lost its spice. Nevertheless, every tourist visiting Baku must have a walk along this square and spend there at least one hour. Have an advice: If you
