Food Scene

Lovely neighborhood place with a great breakfast/brunch/lunch, plus coffee. Don't remember if they do espresso drinks, but go the iced coffee is on lock. Healthy options, but def get a sausage roll.

Good way to get a look at Treme, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. Good coffee drinks of all kinds. If you walk there, take Esplanade or St. Bernard (stay on a main artery for safety).

This is a bar (often with good music), but I'm listing it as a restaurant because the kitchen is open until midnight and has sick slavic food. We keep a menu in the drawer to the left of the back doo

This place is known for its brunches, but I prefer it for dinner, because you have a better chance of getting sat. Wait time for brunch is usually 1-2 hours! Beautiful neighborhood (Bywater).

Putting this on here because sometimes you need Chinese food, stat, within walking distance. As far as quick Chinese food goes, this is very good.
